Ending a Problem Before it Begins

Long San went back to his house and closed his eyes.

He wanted to check up on how the women he saved from the pond was doing in locating the other omnipotent insect. With his eyes closed, he instantly could see through her eyes.

"Ahhh!! Ahhh! Please don't eat me," The lady trembled against the wall while an insect held her from her hair. "Please! I-I have a husband and child."

"RRAAAAA!" The insect screamed and squeezed her hair harder. It was definitely a henchmen of the omnipotent spirit pet. Long San sighed while he watched the lady tremble in the air.

'She's doomed unless I save her, but there is no way I can make it in time.' Long San sighed and opened his eyes. 'I order you to look around.'

"What? What's that voice?" The woman trembled and started to look from side to side with a blank stare. "Why? Why do I suddenly feel so calm?"

"RAAAAA!" The insect screamed again and noticed something odd about the woman that snuck into their lair. Unlike many might thank, Spirit pets could be quite calculating at the Divine rank or above. A large green four armed leaf insect noticed her scanning the base. It instantly decided what was the best of all options.

'I would've left her alive, but I sense a malevolent energy coming from her.' The insects hand blurred before it pierced the womans' heart. 'Hmph, foolish. I'm sure the leader would've let you serve him if you didn't do that.'

Long San sighed and quickly drew a map of where the Omnipotent insect's lair was.

This was complicated. He didn't expect for the insect to kill the woman he captured so fast. He only got brief glimpses of the lair. Luckily, he had a pretty good location of where she'd gone to find the omnipotent spirit pet. After all, all he had to do to track her was close his eyes.

"It's probably living at the top of the spirit mountains." Long San looked at the cave complex he drew. "Oh well, I can always try and capture it when I get to level 60. For now, the only wise thing to do is to train my spirit pets."

"I may have attracted some attention today, but for now the Gold Sect will keep the White Sect at bay. What a pain, I didn't expect for Lan Sen to place a stupid bet on me losing. Now, all my carefully made plans just got more complicated."

"Long san, can i come in?" Long Ye smiled. She had on a white dress and her pale skin shimmered with traces of health. "I-I'm feeling so much better after you one brother. I was wondering if you'd want to take your cute sister outside, hehe. I-I want to give you a present brother. Father says your victory has brought us much good luck."

'No it hasn't, believe me,' Long San smiled and walked over to his sister. 'And damn it. If I have one spot its you, Long Ye. Should I just kill you now to get rid of it?'

"Why are you so scary, brother?" Long Ye smiled, "Geez, you're looking at me like a white spirit tiger would look at a great gazelle. I-I'm not going to be eaten by you am i?"

"No, of course not. HOwever, I have plans. An Lele, from the tournament, said she wanted to see me. How about after I take you to get a new spirit pet?"

"Oh right, you can afford one now," Long Ye giggled and hugged her older brother. "You're the best! I'm so glad I have you. You'll always protect me right?"

"Probably not," Long San smiled and walked out the door. "Anyways, tell dad not to wait up for me. There is a few people I have to take care of before we can sleep well at night. Don't wait up for me."

'What does he mean people to take care of?' Long Ye watched Long San leave and walk down the hallway. 'He couldn't mean kill, right? Haha, who am I kidding, my brother was a spirit pet caretaker! Of course he can't kill people!'

After thirty minute, An Lele finally stopped waiting for Long San to meet her near the gates of the White Sect.

She was certain that he would be here by now. He also precisely told her to wait on the side of the White Sect's gate. What could he be thinking.

"There's been a murder! There's been a murder!" A man screamed and shouted. "Someone get the White Guards! Tell them to rush to Lan Sen's room!'

"Were you waiting long?" Long San smiled and patted An Lele on the back. "Sorry, I got lost on the way. What's all that screaming."

"I-I don't know, hehe, but I'm just a low member of the sect. Not like It matters to me," An Lele grabbed Long San's hand and pulled her to her room. "Now, you ready to spend some quality time with me."

"Sure, as long as you tell everyone I was with you," Long San smiled, "Let's go have some fun, shall we?"
