Chapter fifty seven

"Queen Marga ,you are lucky to have a prince marry off your daughter .

Princess Franca is the only daughter who has been married to a Prince .

You know that the Prince Of Jastan couldn't take his eyes off her the day he saw her and I know that the king accepted this proposal because Jastan is a powerful kingdom suitable for being a great ally .

He is selfish and does everything for his selfish interests .

"Esther,you are talking about my husband , queen Marga cautioned ."

*Time travelled fast in the whole of Mugal kingdom as it was finally the time that everyone was waiting for .

Once we enter ,you guys will exit the hall again and start the operation ,the queens said to their maidens .

Alexa entered the hall with her people and just when Krystal was about entering with hers ,something destructed her ....*

"Firefly ....."

*She uttered and ran to the marble outdoor fountain which was just a few meters away from the ceremonial hall to catch the firefly because she loved them .

As she was running towards the fountain ,someone also had the same idea of catching the firefly so he also ran to the fountain .*

"I 've caught it ,they both said holding each other's hand with both their reflections appearing in the water as the moon shone brightly dropping its reflection in the water as well as the little creature laid innocently in their hands ."

"Starring at their reflection ,they let loose of the firefly and it flew away .

Wales ,she called out .

Krystal ,he called out and they continued to stare at their reflections until Sara and Laura dragged Krystal from there ."

'Love ,sorry for keeping you waiting ,I had to make few changes to my gown and you know how the thing with women works .

We always want to look our very best in any ceremony .'

"You look absolutely beautiful Rhian ....."

*Once they left ,Krystal and her maidens got out from where they were hiding .*

Hello guys ,it's your author sunnyrays and I'm back with a whole new spirit .

Before we move on to the issue of the day ,I would like to add up a touch to the story so that we can all read with clean conscience and vivid understanding .

Just as you know ,the story is based on a historical setting .The abuses ,fights ,slavery are things that conforms to their way of living .It 's nothing personal especially against our women because I'm a lady too and we love ourselves .

Below are three points that I" m addressing in the story .

*When a king marries off a princess ,he buys her with treasure and the bride is no longer regarded as part of her father's home .

This is why most fathers like selling off their daughters because it is a way of getting more treasure .

*When a prince marries off a princess ,the kingdom of the princess becomes an ally to her husband's kingdom .

She can go back to her father's home when she pleases and those princesses are not tortured at all .

*A king can marry two women from a particular family .

Example is marrying both aunt and niece .
