Chapter 120: IS YOUR FAITH ENOUGH?

Lucifer felt no satisfaction, with the army he created,

He thought to himself, that he want no room for the angels to win it.

Determined to make his army, much more formidable,

He went to the humans' great military leaders.

The dark bottom pit, hidden away from many,

Was where he had kept them, chained by metals unmistakably heavy,

Their legs were crushed, and some were cut clean,

While their eyes were covered with cloth, so the approaching demon they haven't seen.

"Who-who's there?" Some of them asked bravely,

While the rest, all begged for mercy.

Lucifer wasn't there, to hear them cry out however,

He had plans, big plans, to have his enemies surrender.

"I want to know how your weaponry works,

If you teach me, maybe a deal with you, I can propose,"

"But we did made a deal with you, we gave up our men!

But you strapped us here, and our family's either starving or dead!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU ASKED FOR MORE, YOU PIGS!

YOU WANTED ME TO GIVE YOU MORE, THAN WHAT YOU ALREADY RECIEVED!

You weren't grateful, and that deeply disgusts me,

I think you deserve this, yourselves are reliable for this mess you're in,"

The men quiet down, when Lucifer's voice became meaner,

Some even peed themselves, as some apologize, though they stammer,

"I submit to no one, and I compromise to few,

If someone here should be nodding their heads, it should be you,"

When he was sure that none was playing mighty anymore,

He spoke down, in a voice so cold.

"Tell me your ways, it's now an order than a request,

Tell me clearly, or I'll put you on my tests.

I need to know how your guns, tanks and other weaponry works, alright?

Perhaps I can replace those bullets with something the angels can't fight.

With those fast machinery, they will never win at any way,

I don't care if it's cheating or cowardice, it's me, who'd get to count their days."

Lucifer said, in an ambitious tone, which the men cannot deny further,

As their fates had and will always will be, in the hands of Lucifer.

The Lord of Chaos called the maids to dress them and feed them up,

So to make sure none of them will stab him in tha back.

Haborym even made them prosthetic legs,

As the men simply were grateful, they weren't dead.

When Lucifer finally sits down to listen,

The men spoke with great detail, as Lucifer can't wait for his visions to begin.

The men were fed and even given their own women,

As Lucifer had Satan, discuss it all with him.

Satan felt insulted at first, since it's for the cowards,

But then realized, it may be their only chance to move forward.

Satan being the calculating demon that he is,

Told Lucifer that his ambitious plan cannot be done in less than a year,

But Lucifer insisted that the humans can help them since they know it better,

"Let them follow us, they'd unknowingly refuse their saviours,"

"So we're talking about a weapon that can kill heavenly spirits?

Alright, so what should we put on these?"

"The witches know well about poison and paralyzers,

I'm sure with teamwork, the plan would be faster,"

"I agree, but I suggest something that would penetrate their barriers well,"

"Hmm, an object that could explode when it hits its shell?"

"Are you talking about a bullet that are comparable to fireworks?"

"Yes! That's exactly the word!"

Satan smiles as he dreams of the day all goodness die,

"How fragile they are, to follow their faiths blind,"

"No truer words can be said, they haven't realized, or maybe refuse to realize, that they're clowns protecting 'this' humanity,

When they can be gods themselves, powerful and free."

"Ah, yes.. They're nothing but pitiful losers,

Let them fall as slaves, and God's little toys.

The good thing about not having a god is that you don't have false security,

They may be strong, but I assure you by the time the war comes, we'd be more ready,"

The Lord of Darkness, smiled at his words,

"We have the advantage, tighten its hold,

With the Seer being just a mere boy,

I'm sure one day, he'd change his choice,"

Sellena would visit Asmo day and night,

While enduring the fresh bruises and cuts,

With Asmodeus still recovering, the maids could pour all their envy,

Stealing her jewelries, precious clothes, and destroying her skin once lovely.

The tiara he gave him the first nights they bond,

Were now taken, simply gone,

She felt nothing however, not even a spec of anger,

She didn't love those objects, those weren't what she's after.

At first, she was desperate for escape,

But now, she had another gamble to make,

To take Asmodeus with him, and return him to the light,

For she knew, he could very well tell what's wrong and right.

She knew of the wrongs he did,

Despite it, she firmly believes,

He was not purely evil, by his own choice and will,

And with guidance, he could change still.

She may hold some grudges on him, but they weren't as strong,

As her desire to get him out of his wrongs.

Sellena was still herself, she wouldn't let the demon change her,

But is it wrong to tame the lost monster?

For others, it's either a heavy task, or impossible,

But for her, she wanted not, to see him suffer.

Despite the bruises and beatings she get,

She still hold unto her faith and breath,

Loving an enemy, is only wrong when you just love them alone,

But unlike those who fall unto merely temptation, she strives to make him better.

She wanted not to love him only,

She wanted to make him change sides completely,

To send a clear message that she will not stagger,

That although she may love him, her love towards her Creator is stronger.

Despite the whispers and reminders in her head,

Sellena cries, as she had been hurt from time to time.

She had her knees, all swollen and red,

But nothing as painful, as the cracks inside.

Funny how this demon dared not hurt her skin,

While the maids toyed her, and made her bleed.

Whenever Belphegor would pass by,

She hides her bruises with a smile,

Her long gown covered it for her, appearing fine,

But the demon of sloth could well see, the pain screaming in her eyes.

He'd check on her from time to time,

And she appears sickly, and thinner, unfine,

The demon suspected it at first as mourning,

However, he realized, she was barely eating.

A spy placed by himself, revealed that for the past several weeks,

She eats only once a day, sometimes nothing,

That made her movement slow and weak,

Sometimes, she even lacked sleep.

The information angered the demon of Sloth,

He knew how much Asmo treasured her, she was the reason to death he fought,

Upset that it's been happening for a long period of time now,

He called upon the maids and told them to bow down.

"Just what on earth, did you do to Your Lady?"

"She refused to eat!" "We were very sorry!"

Several reasons came out from their mouths,

But Belphegor simply made them turn around.

He called Sellena, a thin and gloomy thing,

And made her stand, in front of them.

Earlier, Belphegor forced Sellena to speak up,

She refused, but noticed the way she stood up.

It was slow, and she winced in pain,

That's when he realized, she was beaten as well.

"Explain yourselves, young devils,

How could you do this? To your Lord Asmo's Lady?

He treasured her, and loved her deeply,

And you dare for the past few weeks, treat her this harshly?

Are you dumb? Or do you have a deathwish?

Do you know if he finds out, you will all be punished?

Some of you may be Lord Lucifer's favorites,

But don't feel all high and mighty, you're all nothing but a leech.

Do you think if you put her on your mercy, she'd tell Asmodeus to give you promotions?

Do you think your actions, could give you better situation?

How could you do this to someone's mourning wife?

You disrespected Lord Asmo's name, someone he for, willingly risked his life,"

The maids begged for Sellena's mercy,

But she didn't speak, but was rather empty,

Her eyes looked at them, barely feeling anything,

"So tell me ladies, where do you want me to begin?"

Sellena snapped back to reality, when blood splattered on her face,

A maid was quickly decapitated, as to her treatment, she have paid.

Sellena tumbled down, as the horror had unfold itself,

"Belphegor stop it! I did not intend this sort of help!"

The demon of sloth looked at her, rather confused,

"Do you want me to kill them slower? Why did you refused?"

"I don't want more to get hurt because of me,"

"It's not your fault, darling. It will never be.

Asmodeus would have did them worse,

I know that guy, his anger is his secondary curse.

He's more creative too, when it comes to punishment,

So calm down, I have been saving them from further torment..."

She wasn't able to muffle her screams when Belphegor did another killing,

This time more slower, more terrifying,

Sellena begs him to stop, but Belphegor wasn't listening,

"Ah, this is just what I need, before I resume sleeping..."
