The Scorpion-Lion is a big beast and has a height of 3m(300cm), so Ky simply put it as close as he could. The Scorpion-Lion looked at Ky's left-hand then sniffed it to try and understand what was in Ky's hand. From what the Scorpion-Lion knew it was an herb but it was unsure about what kind of herb it was, the Scorpion-Lion had a good knowledge in regards to herbs so it was surprising that with its knowledge, it was still unable to figure out what exactly is present in Ky's hand.
"This is indeed unexpected, just what kind of herb is it that you hide there? I have never come in contact with, just where did you find this?" The Scorpion-Lion said calmly despite giving up on guessing so easily, which surprised Yàobān Heng while Ky is rather unconvinced.
(Giving up this easily?! Of course not! It definitely has something up its claws) Ky thought obviously aware this cunning fellow has something planned or it will simply go back on its word which wouldn't surprise Ky in the slightest.
(Is this vile creature really giving up?!) Thought Yàobān Heng of course even though surprised but also doubtful of this, and even if she could escape the beast, would she be able to escape Ky in her current state? Such were her thoughts at this moment.

Ky slowly opened his hand as he smiled with his eyes closed and said "F*ck you!" at the same time as his hand was opened and as the Scorpion-Lion was just about to respond a very bright light came from Ky's hand immediately blinding the Scorpion-Lion, and as that happened Ky the opportunity to stab its left eye with his katana that was only barely able to get through its eye, that despite being a fragile part is still the eye of a 5th rank beast and is extremely resist when compared to normal eyes.
"ROAR!!" the Scorpion-Lion roared in anger as it had been tricked and was completely blinded, but also because of the horrible feeling in its eyes left now.
What Ky just used is, of course, the 3rd rank herb Shiny fairy bulb, and he used all of the ones he had to make the most of its effect. And as to how Ky tricked the Scorpion-Lion into being curious, it's not that the Scorpion-Lion doesn't know Shiny fairy bulb, but Ky was cheating by constantly changing the herbs in his hand by using the system's inventory to keep and change the herb in his hand instantly, making it impossible for the Scorpion-Lion to recognize the scent perfectly since it was changing between the scent of many herbs the Scorpion-Lion knows making it curious cause, the effect is obviously different if Ky were to simply hold multiple herbs in his hand and that would not have been enough to trick the scent ability of a 5th rank beast.
