The Principal's Information (Short chapter)

The Principal's office. Six figures were in the room. An old man behind the desk, and five teenagers who were respectfully sitting either on the chairs, or on the couch at the far end of the room.

One of the youths was different though. He was sitting on a chair in from of the Principal's desk, his legs were up and placed on top of the desk, and his hands were behind his head. He looked like he owned the damn place.

One could see the Principal's eyes twitching as he struggled to hold his anger.

He was finally able to, and he started speaking "Erm...cough. I called you all here today, for three reasons.

Firstly, I want to congratulate you five for making the team. I hope you all will work hard to make our school proud. I also want to officially appoint Argo as the Captain of the squad, he is a just, upright and...cough cough... honorable young man, fit to be a leader." Even the

Principal had a hard time believing his own lies.

"I hope you all will respect his decisions and support him to ensure the smooth operation of the team."

"Hmph!" Kenny snorted angrily. Although he had just been healed, his face was still a little pain from the injury he suffered at Argo's hands.

The Principal ignored him and continued with his speech. " I have such high hopes for you guys. You are the best set of students our school has produced in many years, and I believe that each of you pass the Yaoyang University's entrance test."

"Sir, In what format is the entrance test held?" Jared asked. None of them knew exactly what Yaoyang University Entrance Test entailed. Everything about the school had always been a closely guarded secret, even the graduates that pass out from the school keep mum about it.

"Sigh, I was getting to that. Tsk...children nowadays, so impatient." The Principal muttered. "My second reason for calling you guys, is to let you know what will be in store for you at the Tests.

The tests are usually divided into two parts. Academic tests and Combat tests. The Academic part, tests your general knowledge. This includes History, Geography, Martial Arts, and Elements.

The Combat Tests, looks at your talent and your Combat prowess. Originally, the tests were supposed to be individual. abut some schools instructed their students to work together to increase their chances of passing. Since then, it gradually turned into a group battle."

"Does that mean we have to undergo some form of training?" Adah asked.

"You have a sharp mind." The Principal praised.

"The third reason I called you guys is to inform you that Yaoyang University's Entrance Tests start in approximately two months. You will spend this time undergoing special training. We will also be giving you basic training on the use and application of Mana. How much you can learn in such a short amount of time will depend on your talents and hardwork."

The Principal looked at Argo as he said this, only to find him with his eyes closed as if asleep. A vein popped in the Principal's head.

He calmed himself down and explained a few more things to the students, before dismissing them. "That will be all for now. You are all dismissed."

As soon as he finished, the 'Sleeping' Argo was the first to stand and bolt to the door, but a sentence from the principal stopped him in his tracks.

"... Except for you Mr. Talean" The principal said with a strange smile. "There's someone looking forward to meeting you."
