Chapter 22 - First Kill

Back to Lisa where she pulled out a black key with what looks like pair of smiling teeth. She began chanting "Open, Gate of the Punisher, Umon."

And a black gate opened where a big black humanoid monster with a very muscular body came out slowly. It has a big mouth with an array of sharp teeth and its brain is fully showing, no eyes or ears, and have red scars on its arms and traps.

"He~He~He~ Girl, what do you want? You rarely call me~" The monster, Umon, laughed creepily before asking Lisa.

"I really don't want to call you if can, but this job is perfect for you. Get that man who's about to run away." Lisa said while pointing at the assassin leader who's about to abandon his companion and run away.

"Ho~ He smells mostly of women and children's blood. So you want me to punish a little murder with around 100 innocent kills? Don't kid around!! Did you summon me for this small fry? I thought we agreed in our contract that you will only call me when there are people with 1000+ kills, so what's the meaning of this?" Umon got angry and walked close to Lisa and looked down at her, wanting her to explain immediately.

Lisa bit her lip and said, "I don't want to dirt the other spirits with that disgusting man's blood!"

"And you have no problems with me getting dirty?" Umon wanted to confirm.

Lisa looked into Umon's 'eyes', nodded, and said "That's right."

"He~He~He~ Girl, you know me so well. I will punish him, but this will be the last time you break the contract do you understand? Next time it will cost your life even if the other Spirits wants to save you, they can't. You got that?" Umon laughed like a villain after hearing Lisa's answer and warned her what would happen if she breaks the contract again. Lisa just nodded and Umon turned around and 'looked' at the fleeing assassin leader. Somehow without eyes or ears, he knows perfectly well where he is.

He took one step ahead, then he suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of the fleeing assassin leader who's jumping over houses. Umon grabbed his face and lifted him like it was nothing. The assassin leader tried to get free by stabbing his sword through Umon's heart, but before the assassin leader knew it his arm was ripped off, and Umon was holding it in his other hand.

"ARRRRGGGH" The assassin leader screamed like a pig being slaughtered.

"Quite down, small fry. Your punishment is just getting started, He~He~He~" Umon said before throwing him high in the air before he disappeared and reappeared again kneeing him in the stomach sending him flying even higher in the air.

Umon landed on the ground before he once again disappeared and reappeared above the assassin and heel-kicked him in the back, sending him flying downwards like a meteor. It created a big crater with the assassin leader in it, with his bones pulverized.

"See? This is why I don't want you to summon me to deal with small fries. They can't even give me a warm-up!!" Umon yelled agitatedly to Lisa and she just looked at Umon with a difficult expression.

"Guess I will just heal you up a few times small fry, at least that way I might get my daily exercise in. Though it will cost you your lifespan, well whatever you won't need it anymore anyway, He~He~He~" Umon said before he poked his finger into the assassin leader's heart. Instead of dying, he began healing very quickly.

The assassin leader woke up and slowly opened his eyes and said with a confused tone and expression "Where am I?"

"Punishment, boo~," Umon said while being few sentiments from his face, scaring the living shit out of the assassin leader. Then it suddenly dawned on him what's happening and he screamed "NOOOOOO!!" Umon found it annoying and the ears he doesn't have hurts, so he just proceed to punish him. The assassin leader died while not even being able to use his magic, that was the overwhelming difference in power between him, Umon, and Lisa.

Lisa stopped looking after Umon healed him before torturing him multiple times over, and began looking at Marc's fight.

After Marc tried to cloud the assassin's judgment they just fired insults to each other back and forth. That was until the assassin saw his leader being thrown around while not being able to do a single thing about it. He decided to quickly finish this fight and get out of here.

He began throwing small daggers all around the place where they stood and Marc couldn't help thinking "This seems awfully familiar. Don't tell me he can use something like the Flying Thunder God Technique? If so I might be in trouble…."

When the assassin stopped throwing knives, he charged with two daggers in his hands at Marc.

Marc was ready, but he couldn't help glance at the daggers all around. He really hoped they were for appearance's sake.

As the assassin neared, Marc thrust his already transformed paw forward, wanting to test the waters and the assassin's intelligence.

The assassin was already cautious of his hands and didn't want to clash head-on with them, so he just shifted to a slashing motion, wanting to cut Marc's pulse in his forearm.

Marc had two choices now, to sacrifice a hand and land the hit or withdraw it. Without much thought, he withdrew it and followed up with a kick to the assassin's knee forcing him to back away too.

The assassin couldn't help sweating a little, because Marc didn't hesitate to use a 'dirty' move. He thought Marc was inexperienced in fighting, but it seems like he was wrong. Marc was forced to learn Martial Arts by his grandpa when he was little, and even his grandmother who usually always supported him was against him when he said he didn't want to learn it.

The first thing Marc learned was rule 1. Everything counts in a fight.

But the assassin wasn't totally wrong. Marc is indeed inexperienced in a magic fight. Heck, he has only touched the surface of what his Paw Magic can do.

Marc just stood still and didn't feel like moving around where all the daggers are. So he waited until the assassin charged again, and they fought in close combat again. Marc tried multiple times to touch the assassin, but the assassin always stopped him trying to slice his pulse in his forearms.

After a few dozen of attacks, Marc wanted some room to breathe and tried to kick the assassin in his groins, but instead of backing off, the assassin just lowered himself and took the kick in his stomach, and managed to slash Marc's hand. It wasn't anything lethal, just a little slash. The assassin was sent flying backward and held his stomach that hurt, but he seemed happy with this bout.

"What the hell is he so happy about?" Marc thought before he suddenly felt his Spider-Sense screaming danger.

He quickly crouched and began rolling backward on instinct. And when he looked up, he saw two dark hands pulling out two daggers from the ground where he just stood.

"Tch, so I missed. But no matter, don't you feel anything wrong?" The assassin clicked his tongue in frustration because Marc evaded his sneak attack and asked Marc a weird question.

"Wrong? No, I don-" Marc didn't finish his sentence before he began staggering a little.

"Gegege, I have poison on my daggers. But don't you worry it won't kill you, just cause paralysis. I prefer torturing people to death, so I normally paralysis them first before moving them to a good place where I can make my art shine." The assassin explained to Marc.

"But I really don't have time to make art out of you so, die!!" The assassin wanted to finish this and get the hell out of here. He pointed his daggers at Marc and dark magic circles began showing under the 5 daggers he threw around earlier and dark hands began growing out with daggers in them.

"Do you like my Shadow Magic?" The assassin wanted Marc to despair before killing him.

"The Shadow Imitation Technique is cooler…" Marc shook his head in disappointment and couldn't help thinking of the Nara clan's shadow Justus from Naruto.

The assassin got tick marks all over his face, "A dead man dare to look down on my Shadow Magic? Just shut up and die!!" The assassin yelled and 7 hands thrust forward Marc with knives in them.

"Guess I die if I don't do this." Marc felt the adrenaline pump with max intensity, but he didn't panic, and just closed his eyes and placed his hand over his heart.

When Lisa saw everything unfolding, she was about to step in and save Marc, but she was stopped by a black hand on her shoulder. "Girl, you shouldn't interfere in a man's fight!"

Lisa turned her head and saw it was Umon who stopped her. "Let me go, he's going to die!!" Lisa got angry and wanted him to release his grip.

"Who are you to say? The boy hasn't given up yet, so why have you? Your judgment is clouded, feel his Magic Power. Does it feel like someone who's about to die? This kid is interesting, his Magic Power is pulsing with excitement, He~He~He~" Umon observed and smiled in anticipation for what's to come.

"…"

Lisa went silent and began feeling Marc's Magic Power before shifting to a surprised expression and calmed down a little. But she was still ready to save him if he fails at whatever he's about to do.

Although the assassin's attack was already launched, time seemed to slow down for Marc as he tried to repel the poison out of his body with his Paw Magic. He could feel the poison moving around in his body, but when he tried to repel it, he felt a pressure on his organs that hurt like hell. Everything seemed so easy when Kuma did it in One Piece. Marc felt his time was running out and had to do something or he would die. He grits his teeth and took one deep breath before he began forcefully removing the poison. A purple paw bubble began coming out of his back, but Marc's face grew paler and paler.

*Cough*

When the bubble separated from Marc he coughed up blood and it flowed out of his nose and ears. Although he managed to expel the poison, he didn't entirely succeed in using the technique correctly as Kuma could. He really wished he could use an emergency call and ask Kuma about how he stops adding pressure to his organs while expelling the poison.

As the poison was expelled and Marc could move again, he immediately began thrusting the air with his paws and using *Pressure Shots*, sending air shots to stop the daggers, before he suddenly slapped the purple bubble and sent it flying at the assassin.

The assassin panicked and wanted to stop it by defending with two of his shadow hands, but the purple bubble went right through and sank into the assassin. He didn't feel anything wrong so he just brushed it off as a distraction, and proceed in a war of attribution against Marc's *Pressure Shots* that he was quickly getting the upper hand in.

That was until he began feeling dizzy and began staggering a little as Marc did before.

"Shit!" The assassin couldn't help cursing.

And Marc saw the opening he needed. He used his newly named technique, *Bear Sprint*, which is basically repelling himself at the speed his body can take without breaking down. He speeds up and approached the assassin's head with his paw with every single drop of Magic Power and energy his body has left.

The assassin felt this cute little paw could only be described with one word, doom.

"Monsters shouldn't be shown mercy, that's what I decided when I saw your 'art', and I will abide by my decision. Bye." Marc said before his paw landed on the assassin's face.

*Break*

The assassin's neck broke and he could see the world upside down because his head was on his back. Seconds later his body collapsed on the ground with a thud.

Marc looked at his paw before looking at the man he just killed. The first human he's ever killed, and he felt like throwing up. But before he could, he lost conscience because of the damage he did to his organs and emptying his Magic Power.

(A/N: Sorry for not releasing a chapter yesterday. I have no good excuse, so sorry.)

(A/N: I edited the previous chapter so that the Celestial Key Lisa took out is black instead of gold. And I hope you liked the idea of using Nomu (MHA) as a reference. And if you haven't realized it yet, Lisa is way stronger than Marc and Rofta currently. Marc's not OP, he has to work for it.)
