The Faceless One

Flitterman's landing echoed throughout the sewer.

He walked throughout the damp maze. Thankfully, the suit was protecting him from the foul stench of death and defecation.

Flitterman was looking for the Faceless Fiend - who also appears in The Strange Island of Doctor Nork.

The Faceless Fiend was a murderer on death's row - he could make Jack the Ripper feel inadequate.

But The Fiend was spared, when he became a D-class personnel for the SCP Foundation.

This was also during a time when the Foundation trusted the Good Doctor.

The Fiend's body became the playground of Nork.

Countless experiments were performed, many monstrous in nature.

Dr. Bright could no longer take it, which is why he recommended the removal of Dr. Nork.

The 05 Council agreed, for they had all heard about the Good Doctor's other horrible deeds. But Nork liked to use the word - experiments.

Nork was let go, and the Foundation was now determined to exterminate all of his "experiments".

But.

One managed to escape.

And he later took on the name; The Faceless Fiend, for Nork had removed his face.

Now picture the scenario; a murderer given powers. And due to Nork's experiments, the Fiend's sanity was on thin ice.

Flitterman followed the trail of blood. He now stopped, for he had come at the end of the trail.

Flitterman walked within a large section of the sewers. And what he saw made him lose his breakfast.

" Do you like my art? " said the Fiend from within the shadows.

" You monster… " uttered Flitterman, as he cleaned his mouth.

" Come now, I have been called worse things " said the Fiend with what sounded like a smile.

SCP-5000 was now on full alert, as it was scanning for the enemy.

Using night-vision, Flitterman was able to spot the Fiend.

The Faceless Fiend's appearance was a mix between Gollum and The Demogorgon.

" Found you " said Flitterman, as a mini-missile cannon appeared on his arm.

" Are you going to kill me? " asked the Fiend in a calm voice.

Flitterman nodded.

" Are you not a hero? "

" What is your point? "

" Heroes are not allowed to kill "

The Fiend could not see it, but Flitterman was smiling from under his helmet.

" You have me mistaken for a righteous hero "

An echoing boom could be heard, as Flitterman had shot his mini-missile - kind of like that one time when Iron Man shot his mini-missile at that tank in Iron Man One.

As the smoke cleared, Flitterman felt a cold chill down his spine.

" How did you survive…? " he uttered in dumb amazement, for Flitterman's mini-missile was powerful enough to take down an entire modern warship.

" Did you forget? " said the Fiend, once more, in a calm voice; " the Good Doctor saw fit to bless me with many wonderful gifts "

Within the breath of a second, the Fiend appeared in front of Flitterman; fist clenched.

Flitterman quickly crossed his arms at his chest, and that was when the blow came.

The Fiend's punch sendt Flitterman out of the sewers. He went flying for miles, and he finally stopped flying as his body made contact with a building.

SCP-5000 absorbed most of the damage, but Flitterman was still badly hurt.

As Flitterman coughed up some blood - his helmet broken - the Fiend appeared out of thin air itself.

" Are you going to kill me? " asked Flitterman with a bloody-smile.

The Fiend nodded.

" Have you asked Superwarrior for permission? "

The Faceless Fiend was confused.

" Superwarrior says no " said Superwarrior, as he slapped the Fiend to the side.

" How about taking me on for size? " said Superwarrior with glowing eyes, as he cast a shadow over the Fiend.

" How about no? " said the Fiend, as he went back to the shadows.

" I had that " said Flitterman, as Cher Ami was using her healing powers to heal Flitterman.

" Clearly " said Superwarrior with a smile.

The Fiend may have escaped, but at least; Flitterman lives to see another day.
