Duel

As you sat in class waiting for the next lesson, the class door suddenly slammed opened."It's fine now. Why? Because I am HERE!" All might shouted as he rushed into the class flexing his biceps. You rolled your eyes while smiling slightly at his shameless entrance as the class cheered and gawk at his presence. After a short introduction to what it means to be a hero, he announced that today's lesson would be on duel fighting. The class cheered further on as they imagined what it would be like to finally be able to duel fight. He opened the wardrobe and showed the class their already made hero costumes from our submission a few days ago. The class excitedly grabbed onto their costumes and headed to the designated changing rooms.

"Wow. Omg look at you y/n! You look like a snack." Mina said slyly. You blushed deep red immediately and laughed it off. "Y'all look so pretty too, your outfit really fits y'all." You said sincerely towards the rest of them. The girls all agreed and started to compliment one another. 'Guess this is what it feels like to have friends.'

The class gathered in front of a neighborhood simulation and listened to All might explain what was about to go down. Sadly, you ended up pairing with Bakugo. You both looked at each other with death glares and walked away from each other not wanting to communicate. As you waited for your turn, you examined the other students tactics on how to either protect and obtain the missile. When it came to Todoroki's turn you looked at the screen with confidence. You knew what he was going to do, it would be a pity and disappointing if he didn't do so. Just as you thought so it happened. Ice. The whole building froze within seconds. You paused the ice before hitting the class keeping the rest of y'all warm. "Thank you, young y/n," All might said kindly. You just nod your head and continued watching the screen. 2 minutes. He's really powerful even with just one of his quirk.

Not long after it was your turn. You and Bakugo were the villains while Midoriya and Ochako were the heroes. You and Bakugo hid the missile at the second top floor and waited for the signal to start. "You stay here and guard, I'll deal with them." Bakugo said bluntly and headed down. "Wait, you can't just..."ugh bit*h. You sighed and looked around the room while contemplating what you did to deserve this.

"BOOM!" The building shook violently. 'What the fu*k is he doing now. Jesus.' You started coming up with situations and ideas Midoriya and Ochako might have comes up with to obtain the missile. 'Midoriya probably knew Bakugo would go rabid on him and would have wanted Ochako to be safe. She is probably on her way up.' You decided that that would be their plan and headed down to the third highest floor hoping to catch her a level below.

As the building continued to violently shake you waited for Ochako at the stairs. "Hello. Darling." You said sinisterly as you looked at a brown bob trying to quietly walk up the steps. She lifted her head up slowly and looked at you with puppy eyes. "Ain't gonna work today sweetheart," you said and paused her body immediately. "Come on y/n we are friends right. Just close a blind eye. Please?" Ochako said friendly. You walked down to her and chopped her at the back of her neck causing her to pass out. You unpaused her body and carried her down to the floor where Midoriya and Bakugo were fighting to finally see what was going on. You laid Ochako at the entrance of the stairs at the level and walked into the area where they were fighting at.

'Geez, if this building was populated they would all be dead now. I've got to stop this.' As you walked into the room you saw both of them rushing towards each other ready to punch the life out of one another. You rolled your eyes and paused them immediately. "WHAT do you think you are doing I was about to beat him!" Bakugo yelled furiously at your face. "Yea, yea big boy," you said tiredly while waving him off. "Midoriya are you okay?" You asked concerningly while shifting his body to a standing position. "Yea, I am fine thanks for the concern," he said shyly while having an arm broken. 'Yea right, really fine.' You chopped the back of his neck and caught hold of him.

"Yo! Time Machine! Unpause me!!!" Bakugo growled. You paused his mouth and carried Midoriya and Ochako down one at a time. "VILLAINS Bakugo and y/n has won this match!" All Might yelled into the speaker. As you watched Midoriya get carried to Recovery Girl and Ochako start to wake up from her concussion, you unpaused Bakugo and waited for him to stomp down the building.

"L/N!!!" You heard a distant porcupine call. You turned your head ready to scold Bakugo for his reckless behaviour when you suddenly felt a strong blast towards your back causing you to fly forward onto your knees and palm scraping them and coughing out blood. As your ears tune back to normal from the sudden loud blast, from the corner of your eye you saw a second blast coming. Just as you were about to pause time a sudden wave of coldness swept over the simulation, blocking you from the blast. You looked to your right seeing the origin of the ice wall. "Todoroki," you whispered, smiling at him. Before the fight got any further All Might pulled Bakugo away from the class and brought him somewhere else.

"Are you okay?" Todoroki asked concerningly as he rushed forward to help you up. You nodded your head shyly. "Come on let's get you to Recovery Girl to get bandaids for your wounds." He said softly as he supported your arm. You removed your arm from his grasp and thanked him quietly with your head down trying to hid the small blush creeping up your cheeks.

As both of you walked into Recovery Girl's office you opened the door to see Midoriya sitting on a bed with his injured arm wrapped up like a mummy's and Bakugo sitting on another bed tending to some of the small injuries he received beforehand. You ignored the porcupine and looked at Midoriya, "how's the arm?" You asked nonchalantly as you sat down while Todoroki went to get some bandaids. "All good Recovery Girl healed most of it just need to let it rest a bit," he replied with a smile. Suddenly a box of bandaids appeared before your face, you looked up to thank Todoroki and started to clean up your wounds. As you cleaned yourself up, you held a pleasant conversation between you, Midoriya and Todoroki on the duels just now.

Once you were done cleaning up, you thanked Recovery Girl for the bandaids and walked out of the room with Todoroki and Midoriya. "Hey, Time Machine. I need to talk to you." Porcupine said while standing at the entrance of the door. "Let's go, it's best to ignore him," Todoroki said gently. "No, it's fine I need to settle some stuff with him once and for all." You replied back warmly with a smile touched by his concern. "Thanks Todoroki, for everything today," you said shyly while diverting your gaze. "Shoto" He said firmly. Huh. "Call me Shoto," he repeated. You looked at him shockingly before nodding your head vigorously, trying to hid your blush. He smiled at your flustered gesture, patted your head and walked away with Midoriya.

You turned your head back to Recovery Girl's room entrance and walked towards Bakugo with confidence and pride. Just as you were going to open your mouth he intercepted you and said, "sorry" quietly. Which left you gawking with your mouth wide open. 'Did he just. Nah it can't be. Jesus?' "Better close your goddam mouth before a fly lands in it Time Machine." He said intimidatingly. 'Oh thank god's he's still the same, thought he got possessed for a second.' "What changed your mind Porcupine," you said with a grin forming on your face. "Tch, don't get to happy I won't apologise to you again," he grumbled annoyingly. "Well, thank you for admitting your faults. See you later porcupine that's evolving into a hamster." You said giggly as you turned your head to walk back to class.
