Side Story - Carnival

"l/n! Are you okay? I saw what Bakugo did to you yesterday," Kirishimari asked worriedly. You nodded your head while giving him a reassuring smile. "That's good. I was wondering, some of the class were planning on going to the pop-up carnival that just opened, this weekend. Interested?" He asked excitedly with a huge grin on his face. You laughed at his excitement and agreed to his request happily.

You dressed into a floral puffy sleeve top and put on a pair of jeans, tying your hair into a loose side ponytail and wore a pair of Fila disruptors before heading out to the carnival.

Once you reached the carnival you spotted a familiar Pickachu, Fire, Tape dispenser, Frog, Earphones and Pink Alien. "Hey, Guys!" You shouted as you jogged up to them. "Is this all of us?" You asked curiously. "No, we still ha..." just as Kaminari was about to reply you a certain barking from a distance was heard. 'Bakugo. Should have known.' You slowly turned your head hoping that the barking was from an actual dog instead. Sadly you saw a blond porcupine walking towards your group. 'Jesus, please be easy on us today.' You internally prayed while placing your hands together looking at the sky. "Okay. Now everyone is here let's go!" Mina exclaimed joyfully. As your group of friends were walking around the carnival deciding what rides to start queueing up for, poor Kirishima had to drag reluctant Bakugo along. Finally, the group decided to split up and regather after a few hours for dinner due to the many conflicts on which rides to take. You walked towards the scariest looking roller coaster with steep dips and multiple loops and grinned crazily at yourself. I'm gonna be so scared. Just as you were happily queueing up you felt an ominous cloud slowly appear behind you. "Wouldn't have thought you would have the guts to take this ride, Time Machine." He said monotonously. "Please don't tell me you are taking this ride. I wouldn't want to hear baby cries while on it," you said in a sassy while giving him a smirk. Bakugo left eye twitched when he heard what you. Just as he was about to punch you, you hit his arm lightly and laughed being amazed by how easily he is offended. "It's a joke chill. Wanna take it together?" You asked him while giving him a goofy smile. He looked at you shockingly before diverting his gaze away from you scratching his neck saying, "whatever, sure."

After mostly queueing and very little riding, you and Bakugo met up with the other at the open cafeteria for dinner. Having spent some time with Bakugo you realised that he wasn't all that bad and annoying. As you enjoyed your f/f while talking with the others about what they did you heard the announcement that they would be setting off fireworks soon. The group quickly finished their food and rushed towards the open field at the end of the carnival facing the open lake. You tried squeezing through the crowd to get a better view of the firing but sadly everyone were taller than you and not budging. You sighed sadly being the type to not use your quirk unless necessary you resided to your fate and just hoped to be able to see the fireworks in the sky. Suddenly someone bend down in front of you and pointed at his shoulders. "Can I really Porcupine?" You asked touchingly. He grunted and started counting down from 3. You quickly claimed on to his shoulders and rested your arms on top of his head.

As you leaned back to stare at the colourful fireworks blast into the sky, he tightened his grip on your thighs ensuring that you would not fall. Right as the firework show ended you heard a annoyed grumble, "you done yet. You aren't that light you know right?" You happily laughed as you removed yourself from his shoulders and hugged Bakugo to thank him for his consideration. "Whatever," he said nonchalantly looking away. You could have sworn you saw a blush forming at the tips of his ears.

You happily waved goodbye to your friends as you took a bus back to your housing complex. When you stepped off your bus you suddenly felt someone starring at you from the back. You whipped your head back immediately to catch a glimpse of a male with black hair and coat walk into a distant dark alley. 'It can't be.' You rushed towards that man hoping to catch him before he disappeared. When you reached the alley you saw that it was a dead end and the man has disappeared. You looked at the alley disappointedly and stared into it hoping to see the man again.
