Shi Changmao* was a name everyone within the Green Lightning Dynasty knew. It was the name of the Cultivator that betrayed his Sect and robbed the fourth Prince of all but his underclothes!

This humiliation of his family was not something the Dynasty's Ruler could let be, and so he ordered all Sects in his territory to hunt Changmao down, he said "Whoever brings me this traitorous bastard will get to marry the third Princess!". Also, since this incident the fourth Prince has not been seen in public, it is assumed that he hides himself in shame.

"I found him!" a Cultivator leading a group of 24 that was searching the Red Desert Territory exclaimed. He had found Shi Changmao and was calling the others. Then the Cultivator again looked at Changmao. He was lying on the Hot Red Desert Sand and enjoyed the Suns warmth, it seemed like he didn't even register that someone found him! It enraged the Cultivator, did Changmao not see him as a worthy opponent!? He was 4 entire small Realms above then him!

'The third group today!' Changmao was happy, while he didn't know how all the groups found him in this 10-thousand-kilometer area of a lifeless Wasteland, maybe fate? He still was happy, that is because he could defeat and then rob them of all their things! He saw this as the best lifestyle possible!

The other Cultivators neared and Changmao stood up "Hey you, who are you? Calm down a bit." he asked the enraged man who then shouted: "Who are you to not know me!? I am the first disciple of the Broken Dawn Sect! The largest Sect in the Red Desert Territory!" Changmao's eyes moved up, "Broken Dawn? Never heard about it. Must be something unimportant." Steam rose up from the man's head "You! How dare you?! To insult our Mighty Sect! Feel my strength!"

The Cultivator gathered his Qi and drew his Sword. A Powerful Aura spread out and pushed away large amounts of the Red Sand. The others of his group still were a few hundred meters away. But due to his burning rage the Cultivator ignored them.

Changmao looked at the man and chuckled, then he too gathered his Qi, but different to the man he didn't focus it into an object, instead he moved the pure Qi with his Will and formed uncountable balls of highly concentrated Qi. The Sand near them began to glow even Redder from the heat and began to slowly melt.

The man finish focusing his Qi and swung his sword. Changmao heard a loud *siii* as the Sword began to move. He manipulated his Qi and a wall formed around him, then the balls shot out in chaotic paths all aimed at the man.

The Sword and the Wall connected; cracks spread out across the wall but moments later they closed again. As for the Sword? The moment it hit, small, near invisible, strands of Qi moved up to it from the Wall and surrounded it. The man tried to take it back to swing again, but to his shock it didn't move!

And at that exact moment the balls of concentrated Qi hit. The man's defensive talisman that had saved his life multiple times shattered instantly. A few moments later the balls hit the second one, a talisman so strong it should have been able to stop an attack of a Realm above the wearers! But even that did not stop Changmao! Who was this random Cultivator Infront of him, who was able to rob the fourth Prince and defeat all of his protectors?

The balls of Qi concentrated even more and the heat they produced rose rapidly. Then the talisman's barrier began to melt! The Cultivator supplied more and more Qi to hold it up a few seconds more, but then he realized that he would not be able to hold on till his underlings arrived!

He drew in more and more Qi, more than his body could handle, but this little boost managed to slow the melting down long enough for the others to arrive. Attacks bombarded Changmao from all directions, but his Qi Wall held firmly. These cultivators were way weaker than the man but due to their numbers they were a bit annoying.

Deciding that he played around long enough he recalled all of his Qi and then send out a wave magnitudes stronger than the Qi Balls. Wherever it passed the Red Sand instantly melted! The 24 Cultivators were instantly thrown in the Sand, all Qi they gathered dispersed as they lost control.

Weakly the man looked up, he saw Changmao walking towards him "How-" he caught up blood "how can you be so strong?" but Changmao ignored what he said and instead demanded "Give me all you have and I will let you see another day!" reluctantly the man pulled off his Spatial Ring, he was arrogant, but not so arrogant that he would risk his life, and threw the Ring at Changmao's face, however he caught it skilled. "I said all." Disgust appeared on the man's face, "You want my Cloths too?" but Changmao only stared him in the eyes. Seeing it as his only way out alive the man sighted and removed his now tattered robe. "Thanks for your cooperation!" Changmao spoke and knocked out the man as soon as he finished speaking.

He then looked at the others, "See, your leader was cooperative, are you too?" they dropped their Spatial Rings and then their Robes. He looked around and saw that the seven woman part of the group still had their robes "What about you?" he curiously asked. One of the man's spoke out "You can't demand the Woman to give away their Robes!" "I can, and I do so. You won't die of heat or cold and still have your underclothes! I could kill you any moment here! You understand Im showing mercy to you?"

After gaining what he wanted and all of them were knocked out he took flight and shoot away. A two hours later, he had already crossed a few hundred kilometers, when he stopped. He used his Qi to dig a 100m deep hole and went inside of it. Then he took off his Spatial Ring and exploded a Qi Ball near the top of the hole. Sand rapidly fell downwards, but the only thing it hit was a warm Ring made out of materials even the best Smiths didn't know about, Shi Changmao had entered his own Spatial Ring!

A day later the group of Cultivators slowly regained consciousness (arrrrrrrgggg how much I hate this word!!!!!) all of them were enraged, but the only thing they found after waking up was reddish glass near them.

* This time I did not use Google Translate to make a name but looked up different names and their meaning and then chose one combination. Makes me think how much we English readers miss out from Chinese Novels…
