In the Forest

I nimbly rush through the forest surrounding the lake of the holy Stone Cow, a gentle wind brushes my long hair and the sun smiles at me. The scenery around me is grand, the deeper one goes into the forest the more breathtaking it becomes. Lushful Green Trees surround me all around and moss sparkling from raindrops covers the ground.

I hear the silent whispers of the Stone Cow; it is an otherworldly melody, something divine, I feel it, Mother Nature is watching me. With small steps I continue on to my destination.

Soon I reach a small opening within the forest, my brother bright fox showed it me. In the center of it are multiple small stone tower surrounded by flowers. Whenever one of us comes here we put another stone on top. I take the one I brought and stretch, my little arms are barely enough to reach the top, but then I put the stone upon the tower. It shakes a bit but then stops.

With a smile I take a step back and gaze at my work. Really great! Then I look around and my eyes fall upon a tent made out of deer skin, it was made years ago when my brother just proved himself. The skin is from his first deer.

I crawl inside and burrow myself in the fur that fills it. My head turns to the entrance and I peer outside. Soon a little blue bird enters my View. It sits on a branch of one of the large trees and seems to be looking for food. When it notices me looking at it begins to stare me in the eyes, and I do the same.

It feels like we gaze in each other's Soul, but then thunder wakes me out of my daze. Rain falls from the clouds. The little bird looks around and then again into my eyes. Its head turns as if it is questioning me and I move my hand up a little bit. Understanding my gesture, the bird takes flight while the raindrops smash onto its fragile body. Then it lands in front of me and jumps under my hand.

Happily I caress its back head. It stretches itself and then whistling for me, it perfectly mixes with the silent whispers and both become something more, something greater. I continue listening to the melody and I notice how the sound of raindrops hitting the ground, flowing on the leaves of the evergreen trees and the sound of the followers of the bright lights, the thunders, also slowly mix with the melody.

Time passes and I am still fascinated by the melody, then I sense something. Recognizing what it is I speak out "I know you're there, no need to hide yourself!" while giggling a bit. I don't get any response, the sound of the wind raging around is the only thing filling the silence, "Hm, don't want to show yourself?" I question, still no answer.

"Anyways, currently I don't have time… so much I need to do…" my voice lowers; I am a bit ashamed "Just wait… maybe next moon I will again have enough time?" the wind rushes and some leaves fall from the evergreen trees.

I feel something moving away "Goodbye!" I shout, hoping it will reach. A bit surprised the little blue bird looks around but calms down again. The Rain lessens. A few minutes later it stops completely. Deciding that I should go again I step up; the bird sits on my left hand.

I stand again and hold out my left hand. "I have to go now little bird, may our paths cross again!" Understanding the meaning of my words it looks me into my eyes one last time and extends its wings. It takes flight and I look after it with a smile. I turn and begin rushing back home while the wind starts to play with my hair again and the sun scares away the clouds.

You have no Idea how long I looked up all sorts of information for the bird scene… but now my knowledge of (pet) birds has expanded largely! :D
