Pulses, pulses of Qi, shot out from the Spirit Stone Root. Cracks formed on it and then Spread out. *CREEEACK* and ear piercing sound spread out and a light, so bright it forced even a peak Domain Expansion Cultivator to look away, appeared. The Qi that spread out collapsed inwards, all Spirit Stones in the vicinity disintegrated into Pure Raw Energy! The Spirit Stone Root absorbed all of it, and slowly its Aura changed, it grew more and more powerful!
It was an unstable sphere of energy, but after this, nothing happened! It was like it waited for something! Eight whole days passed, but still nothing happened! Then on the eight second of the eight minute of the eight hour of the eight day the sphere collapsed onto itself! (totally not some Feng Shui Stuff!!1!11!!1)
The energy reformed and it grew into something that was incomparable to its previous state! The Spirit Stone Root grew true roots which spread out within the Spatial Ring it was inside, soon they covered halve of it and it began producing Qi itself as well as Spirit Stones!
The Spatial Ring became unstable due to the large amount of energy within it and was about to break apart when Shi Changmao used his Qi to expand the Rings space. The Roots' Qi and his mixed, he felt like a connection appeared, and the Ring finally stabilized again.

"Master Wang, a mail has arrived." a servant knocked on Wang Lei's door. A few moments later the door opened without any hand touching it. The servant moved her hand, and the mail was within the Room, she then retracted her hand and watched how it floated away. She bowed and the door closed in front of her. She then went away.
'A mail? From whom could it be?' Lei thought to himself while opening it, within a few seconds he had read it all. It was from his sect, there were a few questions regarding his Cultivation, but the main thing was a request for him to look up what could cause lightning to rain down on their Sect for eight days, eight hours, eight minutes, and eight seconds. "What the hell?!" Lei decided to go to the Liberian.
"Im sorry to say this, but we have no records of such an event." "Do you, a knowledgeable Liberian, have any idea what could have happened?" "That would be seventy seven merits." "Hmpf! Greedy as always! Here you go." "A pleasure trading with you! I personally assume that something or someone at your Sect angered the Heavens." "And?" the Liberian looked at Lei whit questioning eyes "And what?" "What could be the cause?" Lei sounded annoyed, "Why should I know this? Do I look like I know all?" "AND WHAT DID I PAY YOU FOR? THAT YOU TELL ME SOMETHING ANGERED THE HEAVENS?! GREEDY PIGS!" Lei had enough, he should have gone away once he knew that there were no records. Seventy seven merits were enough to get the resources to make a talentless mortal to an Silver Core cultivator within a week!
He went to the Quest giver and took an extermination quest, a few Demidragons were terrorizing some random place he would never go to after this. Lei exited the Capital and took flight, a few hours later he reached the place. The beautiful colors of twilight filled the sky. He spread out his Semidomain he had formed, instantly he knew about everything within dozens of kilometers from him.
Within a cave there were around four dozen Demidragons, currently they were sleeping, waiting for the dark of the night to hunt again. Their Cultivation levels were at the lower end of the Domain Formation Realm. Then Wang Lei saw how one of them woke up, it looked around and moments later it looked directly at where Lei was standing even though they were kilometers away from each other! 'Oops, it noticed me!'
He retracted his Semidomain and flew to the Caves entrance. Many of the Demidragons were awaiting him, and the moment he reached it he was attacked by all of them! Fire burned the ground and illuminated the darkening sky. Lei swung his Qi empowered Sword and cut apart one of the Demidragons that had jumped onto him, its dying scream echoed across the area and blood colored golden by the setting sun flew through the air.
Lei felt the heat of each breath of flames, it burned in his eyes, but he continued on. No Demidragons Scales were strong enough to stop his Sword that cut through all. The flames continued to bombard his shield of Qi and slowly small cracks started to appear.
Finally, the Sword cut through the last Demidragons neck, killing it. Wang Lei's Qi shield had Cracks all around it, but it held! He looked around him, corpses filled the ground and blow flew on it. Then he saw something, even though the sun had already set, the blood glimmered golden!
Lei manipulated his Qi and collected all the blood in a sphere, he took out a few wine bottles and emptied them on the ground. Then he Stored the Demidragons blood. "Let's see what they collected!" he said to himself and slowly strolled into the cave.
High Grade Spirit Stones lay everywhere, some Spatial Rings too. The most prominent thing were minerals and items that sparkle. He collected all of it and continued on. Then suddenly he stopped. His eyes were locked onto an egg, it had a small crack where a small golden bone hung out.
Unable to control himself he collected all his Qi inside his Sword, then he slashed! For the first time his Sword did not cut something, that was how strong the egg's shell was! The full blow of a peak Domain Formation Cultivator only left some small cracks on it! Just like a maniac Lei continued to smash onto it. Slowly but surely the Cracks spread and then the egg's shell broke!
Wang Lei stared at the corpse inside with primal greed and the logging for strength every lifeform had from birth! A dead infant Dragon! Moments later Wang had taken the body out and was beginning to drink the golden blood still within the corpse's veins and at the bottom of the Shell. A single drop was all needed to recover his full strength!
After devouring every last drop of the golden blood of the Dragon, he began biting into the Dragons flesh! His teeth broke, but he continued on. As the Dragon never left the egg, it hadn't formed its Scales. If it had, then even a peak Domain Expansion Cultivator would not have been able to leave a scratch!
The flesh had a strange taste. It tasted old, really old, and at the same time also like the best thing under the heavens! The more of the Dragon he ate, the easier it became for him to devour the rest. Once he had consumed all the flesh, he bit into the golden bones and they cracked! This was something even someone two Realms above him would not have been able to do!
Wang Lei had finished eating the whole Dragon, when he became tired, very tired. He felt like he would die if he did not sleep now. Then he collapsed onto the ground. It seemed like he was dead, so deep was he sleeping!
Time passed and golden light shone out of the cave. It attracted many animals, those that were brave enough to enter the cave were scared away once they felt an Aura that made their senses scram of death!
Nine days, nine hours, nine minutes, and nine seconds after Wang Lei fell asleep there was a gigantic rumble in the heavens! Every cultivator within the Green Lightning Dynasty could feel it! Something big was happening! Then a roar so powerful and domineering it knocked every being below the Domain Expansion Realm unconscious echoed under the heavens in every territory of the Dynasty!

The Dynasty's Ruler's Domain swept the whole Dynasty's Territories moments later! Space was broken and the Ruler appeared before the golden glowing body of a humanoid.
Golden Scales covered every part of the body and centimeter long claws were there where the fingers were supposed to be. Small curly golden horns grew from the head. A pair of Wings a few meters in diameter sprouted from the back.
The humanoid looked around and then saw a man that looked old and wise but also young and strong. The humanoid then stared at the man; its jade green eyes shone with a strange golden glimmer. "To think there were still Dragon eggs…" the man sighted, then he looked up again "You should be Wang Lei?"
The humanoid was startled, it then opened its mouth and tried to speak. Flames so hot they would burn Wang Lei's Sect's shield instantly shoot out! The moment they touched the man, they calmed down obediently and dissolved. "Hm, you can't talk yet when you are transformed. Try to feel the golden Qi inside your body and collect it inside your blood."
The humanoid nodded and a few minutes later the golden scales, the horns, the wings, and the claws all retracted. "E- ie- I- I am Wang Lei" Lei said with his regain Voice. "Great, follow me." the man spoke "You need to get some sleep." He said, Lei looked around and saw that he was in a bedroom.
Lei fell asleep and the man that was the Ruler of the Green Lightning Dynasty began scanning him. "He absorbed a true Dragons blood not some diluted version and it is slowly replacing his own blood. The golden blood and golden Qi also increased his Cores and Souls grade! They were now of quasi Diamond and Purple Grade! If he is as loved by fate as I think he is, then he will be able to get them to the next Grade in the Refinement Realm."
"I need to bond him to me somehow… how about that? Yes, that's a great idea!" thinking of the golden Future his Dynasty would have a smile spread across the Rulers face.
