The Six Deeds of Dilal

Dilal, the daughter of the Jinn Empress; Dione.

Like her mother, Dilal also wields lightning, but, unlike her mother; Dilal wields Spider Lightning.

Allow me now to tell this electrifying story.

The Two-headed Giant

She was beautiful, which should come as no surprise.

Her long black hair; like the night sky given life.

Her blue eyes; like the moon in the night sky.

And most desired of all, was her body; skin as smooth as silk, breasts as soft as clouds and an ass many would fight for.

A half-mortal woman with few to call her equal.

But, this flower was not just to look at, this flower knew how to fight; for she was as deadly as she was pretty.

Dilal had made her way to En-men-lu-ana, this kingdom was ruled by a fair and just king.

The king however has known hardship, but not for himself; but for his people.

There have been talks about a two-headed giant who kills and eats poor souls who have come across its path.

Dilal entered the kingdom, not knowing of the hardship. She noticed a child eyeing some apples.

Dilal walked over to the shop, where she bought two apples, she then gave one to the child.

While walking within the kingdom, many warm and delighted faces met the gaze of the warrior. Despite the troubles, the people still prospered.

Dilal now felt someone slap her butt.

" So firm and soft " the man said.

Dilal now remembered; that even devils lived in paradise.

But she was calm, the slap had merely caught her off guard.

" Slap it again, " she said with a smile.

The man did not hesitate, and the sound of another slap could be heard.

People were now looking on.

" May I slap it again? " said the fellow with a twisted smile.

" Sure, but it will be your last " said Dilal, still smiling.

The slap could be heard, but this time; the man added a little massage.

" I can die happy " said the man, as he had never felt something so heavenly.

" Good "

Thunder could be heard, when all the people could see again, the man was gone; only ash remained.

" I gave you heaven, now, enjoy the underworld "

Dilal now continued to walk, as a guard told the king of what had happened.

The king summoned the warrior, and Dilal now stood before his majesty.

By her appearance, the king knew that she was not fully mortal, for she was too perfect.

" May I have the honor of knowing your name? " asked the king in such a manner which was common for people who wished to know his name.

" Dilal "

Her voice was overwhelming, like the cleaning of white pearls. The king did his best to act kingly.

" Who are your parents? "

" A mortal man and the Jinn Empress "

The king froze, but his curiosity got the better of him.

" I have heard of the competition between the Emperor and Empress. The two of them having children with others, and then they wait to see how many of their children become renowned… you are such a child, born of a competition "

The king now remembered the sound of thunder from earlier.

The king now did something unkingly; he got on his hands and knees.

" Forgive me, I meant no offence "

Once again, the king heard that sweet and soft melody which was Dilal's voice.

" You have not offended me, you merely spoke the truth "

The king raised his gaze, slowly, he saw it then; the calm, warm and welcoming smile of Dilal.

The king knew in that moment that he would happily exchange his title for her hand in marriage, but the king knew better than to seek the child of a Djinn-Ruler.

Once more, the king lowered his gaze.

" Please, grant me a favor, for I know of a deed which only you can perform "

The humble king felt something soft, yet strong, on his shoulder.

Dilal had kneeled down, it was in that moment where the king had caught her scent.

The king knew that he would gladly give his life; for the chance of spending just one day with this embodiment of pure beauty.

" Ask, and I shall happily do the deed "

The king told of his people's troubles, he told of the two-headed giant.

Dilal now went in search of the giant.

She walked the path which many had walked before her, but, none of those people had ever been seen again.

Dilal now felt it; the very ground was shaking, a foul smell filled the air and she could now hear the massive footsteps getting closer and closer.

The light coming from the sun was being blocked, Dilal turned around, where her gaze met the massive figure of the giant.

It may have been the adrenalin or her Jinn-blood, regardless; Dilal had an excited smile on her face.

The two-headed giant, whose name was; Kap Dwa, brought down his massive club. Dilal did not dodge nor was she wounded. Dilal was merely holding back the club with her bare hands.

Dilal noticed the two surprised expressions, with a single kick; she sent the giant flying.

Kap Dwa got back up, when he looked ahead, but Dilal was gone.

Kap Dwa now felt a hand on his back, he then heard a sweet voice say;

" It is over "

The sound of thunder could be heard, and a sigh of relief could be heard coming from the king.

The Sandworm

It happened while Dilal was walking towards Ubara-Tutu, that she came across a collapsed body. Like a good samaritan, Dilal picked up the man, she then walked to the nearby oasis.

The man could feel something wet on his lips, instinctively; he took hold of the cup and started to drink like it was his first cup of water.

" Thank you… " uttered the man, as his throat was still dry.

Dilal noticed that the man was old with age and wisdom, she guessed that he was about forty; his grey beard certainly supported her theory.

" An old veteran like yourself should know that the desert can be quite merciless to those without water "

The man giggled, both his eyes now started to analyze the magnificent example of a human being, but like the king before him; the old man noticed that Dilal was too perfect to be true.

" You are a Jinn? "

" Half-Jinn " said Dilal with a smile.

She was standing before the old man, who was resting on a palm tree.

Dilal kneeled down, with the sun to her side, her already exquisite beauty was further enhanced. The poor old man had to look away, but even he could not help but noticed those blue eyes, her loose black hair hanging from her shoulders, and that smooth soft skin, his poor heart was being overwhelmed.

" You look thirsty " said Dilal, as she held another cup of water to the old man.

The old man pushed her aside and now started to drink directly from the oasis.

" Forgive me… " uttered the old man, as the water had also cooled his face.

Dilal merely smiled, amused by his reaction, for she had seen it before.

" Tell me, what were you doing out here? "

A serious look now befell the old man.

" I was trying to kill it "

Dilal showed a look of confusion.

" There are many creatures to kill in the hostile desert, so; you have to be a bit more specific "

" The Sandworm "

" From Dune? " said Dilal, surprised; " it has not been seen for many years. Last time people heard of it was when it had swallowed a- "

Dilal paused, but the old man finished.

" A family… my family "

The wind could now be heard flying by.

" I am sorry, " said Dilal.

The old man paused for a moment.

" Do you know what the worst part of it was? I was not even there… I wish I was there; so that I could have died with them… but I wasn't, I lived, if you could call this living. I have spent so many years of my life hunting and tracking that damn beast; who took everything from me, I doubt that it even knows me. To that creature; we are all just walking meals "

Dilal now noticed the shaking of the old man's weary and tired body, she heard it then; drops of tears hitting the oasis.

" Why was I not there??? " the old man asked himself; " I was on a goddamn business trip, making more money than I needed… What I really needed was my family… but, they are all inside of that unforgivable worm. I pray that their souls have found peace, for mine shall never know such a sweet thing "

The old man grabbed hold of his spear, he forced himself to stand, he bowed and then said;

" I am very grateful for your help… but, it would have been better if you had left me to die "

Dilal was just looking at the suffering creature.

" You can make it up to me "

" I don't have much "

" You have your life "

The old man scoffed.

" It is not worth that much "

Dilal giggled.

" Listen, Ubara-Tutu is not far from here. Go to that kingdom, bathe, eat, and then sleep for a bit "

With lifeless eyes, the old man asked;

" Why should I? "

" To honor your dead family "

The old man did not know the emotion to feel, he could only ask;

" What do you mean? "

" Your family is dead, there is no changing that fact, but at least you can live for a bit, till the day you die. And when you have died; that is when you can go in search of your family "

" My life is meaningless without them "

" Then give meaning to someone else's life. Adopt a child; who too has lost a family "

Life seemed to return to the old man's eyes, for he had never considered that option.

" Something to think about " said Dilal, as she tapped the old man on his shoulder.

" But… the worm? " uttered the old man.

" Don't worry, I will kill that monster, " said Dilal, as fire could be seen in her eyes.

Dilal stood in an open space in the grand desert.

Storm clouds started to gather in the sky, multiple lightning strikes now hit the earth, shaking something awake. The sandworm did Indeed awake from its slumber. The beast came bursting out from the ground.

Dilal could be seen atop its open mouth, the beast trying to eat her.

Dilal called down another deluge of lightning, but all the strikes only seemed to tickle the creature.

Dilal now had an idea; if she could not hurt the creature from the outside, she would do it from the inside.

Dilal now jumped straight into the belly of the beast.

All was quiet, only the sandworm moving could be heard.

The sandworm's long belly now lighted up; it looked like the fireworks on new years eve.

The sandworm now stopped moving, as smoke was coming out of its mouth. After a moment, Dilal could be seen walking out of said mouth.

" I could use a bath… " uttered Dilal with a smile.

The Dust Devil

A simoom was passing by, and within that simoom; Dilal was calmly walking.

Dilal's foot now hit something; it was a body, the body of a child.

The doors to an inn, which was within Jushur, went open.

" Who is mad enough to be out there? " said the owner, who now saw Dilal walking in, while holding a child.

The owner quickly closed the door.

" Are you mad, woman? "

" This child needs help, " said Dilal, calmly.

The owner went to the child, the owner then noticed that the child did indeed need help.

" I will see what I can do "

The child was now on a bed, the owner had given the poor child some medicine.

" Rest should do the trick, " said the owner, as he put a blanket on the child.

Dilal now pulled down her hood.

" A Jinn?... great… " uttered the owner.

" You do not like Jinn? " said Dilal, as her blue eyes were glowing in the dark room.

" I have nothing against you personally, nor any other Jinn… it is just that; the supernatural has not been kind to us as of late "

The owner sat down, as he poured himself a drink.

He gestured if Dilal wanted one, but she kindly declined.

" Could you tell me the story of this village, why has the supernatural been unkind? "

The owner emptied his cup.

" It happened a while back. At first, we thought that it was a mere simoom, or even a sandstorm - the owner paused, as he looked at his shaking windows - but it was neither. This is not the work of mother nature; but the work of a creature "

The owner now looked over at the peaceful child.

" Many have died, many children have become orphans, and all of them are seeking revenge "

The howl of the wind could now be heard.

" For how long has this been going on? "

" For too long " said the owner, as he finished another drink.

Dilal looked over at the child, she then looked over at the weary and tired owner, she then knew what to do.

" Let us make a deal, " she said.

" A deal? "

" I kill this creature, in exchange; you adopt the child "

The owner paused for a moment.

" Do you already have children? "

" I had children " said the owner, as he finished his third drink.

" I see "

The howl of the storm could be heard, as Dilal opened the door, she then walked straight into the raging storm.

Dilal walked some distance away from Jushur, she then said;

" I know that you are there "

Glowing eyes could now be seen from the storm.

" A Dust Devil? " said Dilal with a smile.

The creature now spoke with the wind;

" You stand no chance against me, Jinn "

A massive amount of hot wind now hit Dilal, but, Dilal stood her ground, as her cloak melted away.

" You may command the hot winds of the desert, but I command the power of lightning, " said Dilal, as lightning could be seen coming from her eyes.

The Dust Devil looked on, as a storm cyclone was forming in the sky, spider lightning could now be seen and heard.

For the first time, the creature was actually scared.

Dilal raised her hand, while her eyes were glowing, she called down a massive amount of lightning; covering every inch of the Dust Devil.

The desert cleared and the Dust Devil was gone.

Now that the sun was out, Dilal continued walking.

The Noctis Labyrinthus

The labyrinth of night, an endless maze with no end in sight.

This labyrinth is located in the middle of the desert, in the middle of the night.

It is said; that those who can come out on the other side of the labyrinth - will receive what Gilgamesh could not, thus becoming one of the Djinn-Rulers.

Dilal was standing outside of the massive structure, she had no desire to enter, only to observe the marvelous creation.

The person who made the labyrinth is not officially known, but, who else could it be but Sa'd.

Dilal could now hear something, she turned her head, where she now saw a woman running towards her.

" Please! You must help me! " yelled the woman, as she grabbed onto Dilal's clothes.

" What has happened? "

" My foolish son has entered the labyrinth! " exclaimed the mother in a sorrowful tone.

There is one thing which I have yet to mention, within the labyrinth; lives a monster, a creature, a hybrid; the Yetiarmadillo.

The Djinn-Rulers atop Mount Qaf have not increased, which means that no one has ever reached the end of the maze.

A foul smell met Dilal, as she stood in front of the dark entrance to the labyrinth.

Dilal was not sure if she would survive the maze, but seeing the poor mother in pain for her son, was worth the try.

Dilal now entered The Noctis Labyrinthus.

As Dilal was walking, she left behind a trail of lightning, which began at the entrance.

When Dilal was outside the labyrinth, the sun was high in the sky, but when she entered the labyrinth; all was dark as the night.

Several creepy sounds could be heard, as Dilal walked from one dead end to the other. She called out for the boy, but she got no answer.

Dilal now heard a new sound, a rolling sound.

Dilal looked, a rolling cannonball was coming straight towards her, she knew that it was The Armored Yeti.

Dilal now ran away, and the scene looked like the one from Indiana Jones.

Dilal jumped into an opening, where she found the boy.

" Do you know how worried your mother is? "

The boy could only utter;

" I am sorry… "

Dilal sighed, she then heard the sound of the cannonball returning.

Dilal grabbed the boy, and the two of them could now be seen running back to the entrance.

The mother was outside the entrance, she saw her son and Dilal, and behind them was the massive Yetiarmadillo.

Dilal held the boy, as she made a giant leap.

When Dilal and the boy were outside of the maze, the Armored Yeti merely stopped near the entrance, it then started to roll back into the labyrinth.

The mother cried tears of relief, while Dilal let out a sigh of relief.

Odontotyrannos

Relaxing in an inn, Dilal was enjoying a peaceful meal, while the others were enjoying her beauty.

A child walked up to Dilal.

" Excuse me "

" Yes? "

" Do you kill monsters? " said the child, innocently.

The whole inn fell silent.

Dilal picked up the child, she gave the child a cup of honey milk, Dilal then said;

" What monster bothers you? "

Near Kalibum, which is both a city and a sacred sword, near the city lives a T-rex with horns, the beast is known as; Odontotyrannos.

Dilal was standing outside of Kalibum.

The wind loves to run through her hair, and the sun loves to kiss her skin.

The ground was now shaking, Dilal opened her eyes, her piercing blue eyes were glowing, and she now beheld the T-rex with the horns.

The fearsome colossal creature was walking towards Dilal.

The heroine smiled, as she too started to walk.

The beauty and the beast met in the middle, the people looked on from behind the walls.

Lightning crackled on Dilal's hands, as the Odontotyrannos showed its fangs.

The jaws of all the people dropped, as Dilal could now be seen giving the Odontotyrannos a belly rub, while saying;

" Who is a good boy? "

Dilal left Kalibum, as Odontotyrannos became the guardian of the city.

Later.

Dilal traveled to Iranistan, to pay Shah Sikander Khan a visit.

The Jinn Empress

Dilal was holding a special and unique dessert given to her by Shah Sikander Khan, as payment for a previous job.

Dilal was walking towards Mount Qaf, she passed Madiha; the Gorgon Guardian.

Dilal continued to walk, till she reached the top, that was when she saw her, her mother, the Jinn Empress; Dione.

" My sweet girl " said the Empress, joyfully, as she embraced her daughter.

" Mother, I have brought you something "

Dilal now held out the dessert.

" My favorite " said Dione with a happy smile; " you shouldn't have "

" I wanted to "

The Empress embraced her daughter one more time.

" Come " said Dione, as she took Dilal's hand; " you must tell me of all your deeds "
