The Thrice-Great

People were just going about their day.

Just when everything seemed too mundane… that was when the Egyptian Plagues hit.

Thankfully, Simon Baz, whose clothes were designed by Roni Helou, was within reach.

Simon's Qareen looked on as his counterpart made his way into a nearby alley.

Simon took off his glove, revealing his ring.

The ring glowed brightly, bringing forth a green light within the dark sandstorm.

The Green Lantern took flight, opting for an aerial point-of-view.

" What caused all this? " said Simon, wishing to know the source: which brought forth all the lice, flies, and frogs.

That was when, deep inside the thick sandstorm, Simon saw the silhouette of an individual.

Using his ring, Simon created an opening.

" King Tut? "

Not that King Tut.

This was Victor Goodman as King Tut.

But very much like his namesake, Victor was also suffering from malaria and a broken leg.

" Why would you cause all this mayhem? "

" To get your attention, Lantern. "

" Well, you have it. " said Simon, holding up his ring; " now what? "

Victor Goodman used the last of his strength to stand straight.

" Death. "

" What? "

A swarm of locusts obscured Simon's view.

He shot frighteningly, trying to get free.

That was when Simon shot into the air, and saw to his horror; that one of his blasts had hit Victor Goodman square in the chest.

King Tut smiled joyfully.

Simon's Qareen looked on, as Victor's Ba left his corpse, seeking a new host.

The Ba made its way towards The Floating Island of Chemmis, nicknamed: Benben, where it made contact with the remains of Prince Nefrekeptah.

Victor's Ba had a new home.

And with a new home, came a new name.

King Tut was no more.

From inside the sarcophagus arose:

Tutu, who very much resembled Ramesses the Great from AC Origins.

But this was Tutu the Thrice-Great, for he was originally Tutankhamun, then King Tut(Victor Goodman), and now:

Tutu pa aa, pa aa, pa aa.
