The Holmes Gang found themselves in Austin Texas.
" Dear me… it is certainly warm… " said Watson, as he for once was not wearing a suit, and neither was Holmes or Moriarty.
The three men now walked into a saloon, and ordered some drinks.
" Now, that was what the doctor ordered, " said Dr Watson, as he had drank his cold glass of water, while Bell and Moriarty giggled.
" Sir, can you give us the details? " asked Moriarty.
" No. " responded Holmes.
Moriarty was taken aback, but Bell then smiled.
" You give the details this time, my boy "
Moriarty blushed, as he said;
" There has been talk of a mysterious man, walking around in the middle of the night, and killing both American and African American people, but oddly enough, the killer seems mostly to target servants, especially, servant girls "
" The incidents, my dear boy "
Moriarty now told of these incidents;
On 31 of December, 1884, Molly Smith was murdered, making her the first victim.
In March, 1885, many servant girls were being harrassed by an unknown man.
March 19, 1885, Clara Strand and Christine Martinson, were attacked and seriously hurt.
May 6, 1885, the body of Eliza Shelley was found dead in the same room as her children.
Later in May, 1885, Irene Cross was found severely wounded in her backyard, she was still alive, but she could not answer any of the policemen's questions, and so, she died of her wounds.
Mary Ray Mie, Gracie Vance and Orange Washington were all three killed in August and September, 1885.
On Christmas Eve, 1885, Susan Hancock and Eula Phillips were killed.
December 24th, 1885, two women were found murdered in their yard, their bodies bearing grisly wounds.
" What do you make of it, Watson? " asked Holmes, as he looked over at his dear friend.
" Me? " said Watson both confused and honored.
Bell just smiled.
" I think that we have an individual on our hands, who prefers female victims over male, and it also seems that he prefers servants "
" Well done, Watson. So, how should we go about catching our culprit? "
" Surely you have a plan? "
" I have several, but I wish to hear yours, " said Holmes with a smile.
Watson felt that it was now his moment to shine.
" I do have a plan in mind " said he, as he looked at Moriarty.
Later.
At night.
Moriarty could be seen, walking around Austin, dressed as a woman.
" I knew that my dear Moriarty had some womanly features, but I did not expect you to go this far, my dear Watson " said Bell, as he was trying not to giggle.
Watson felt no shame, only pride, Moriarty on the other hand, was feeling a lot of things, and wanting revenge was one of them.
But he had to wait, as all three noticed a man following from behind.
Holmes and Watson got out from their hiding place, and were now following close behind, while Moriarty was doing his best, as to act normal, he then walked up to the alley they had agreed upon, and that was when the man followed close behind.
" Hold it! " yelled both Watson and Holmes, as they held their guns towards the man.
The man turned around, with his hands in the air.
" James Maybrick… " uttered Bell, as he got a good look of the man's face.
Maybrick reached for his gun, but that was when Moriarty shot him in the back.
" Sir… may I now take this dress off? " said Moriarty, as he was blinded by the flash from Watson's camera.
Moriarty chased Watson with his umbrella, while Holmes called the police.
