The Axeman of New Orleans

The Holmes Gang were now in New Orleans, the Party State.

While walking around, the three men got talking.

" So, it is now an Axeman? " said Watson.

" Indeed " said Holmes; " But, there is something strange about this one "

" What? "

" Many people claim that the Axeman is a supernatural being " said Bell, as he was trying not to giggle.

" But, Sir, I would say that the strangest thing about this case is the fact that the killer uses the axes of others, and not his own " said Moriarty.

" Why don't they just get rid of their axes? " said Watson, confused.

" That is not the question we have come to answer, but I have been wondering that myself… but! It all started in 1918, and it lasted till about 1919, so roughly a period of 18 months. Now, to the incidents "

The incidents;

May 23, 1918, Catherine- and Joseph Maggio, were killed.

June 28, 1918, Louis Besumer and Anna Lowe. Louis would survive the attack, however, Anna would die after seven weeks.

August 5, 1918, Mrs Ed Schneider, survived the attack, and was then able to give birth(hardcore)

August 10, 1918, Joseph Romano, was killed.

March 10, 1919, Rose Cortimiglia and Charles Cortimiglia, were attacked, and both Rose and Charles would survive, but their daughter; Mary Cortimiglia died.

August 10, 1919, Steve Boca, survived the attack.

Early September, 1919, Sarah Laumann, survived the attack.

October 27, 1919, Esther Pepitone and Mike Pepitone, Mike was killed, Esther survived.

" So, how do we go about drawing the killer out? " asked Watson.

" It is quite elementary, my dear Watson, we do it with Jazz music " said Holmes with a smile.

Bell had asked Prince, Jesse Garon Presley and Freddie Mercury to play their mix of; Don't scare me papa, which could be heard all over New Orleans.

But.

There was one house, which did not play the song.

The Axeman came to that house, like a ghost that could walk through walls.

The killer walked to the bedroom, he removed the sheets, and saw an axe and a razor.

Holmes now knocked the Axeman out, with an axe, and New Orleans could now party on, with no fear.
