Book 11

King Nebuchadnezzar went to the great library of Nineveh, where he took a book written by a man named Homer.

King Nebuchadnezzar then giggled at the similarities of the story and the current events.

Back at his tent, King David was reading a story about a great King whose name was; Izdubar.

You guys may know him better as; Gilgamesh.

King Nebuchadnezzar was now within his throne room, alone, sitting on his mighty throne.

The King then noticed something in the shadows.

" Who are you? " said the King.

" I go by many names " said an entity who walked out the shadows.

Nebuchadnezzar noticed the beauty and majestic figure of a man who had jet black Angel wings.

The King then noticed the fit body and the raven black hair of the man, he then noticed the blood red eyes. Nebuchadnezzar almost mistook the being as one of his gods, if it wasn't for that devilish smile.

" Are you the King of Hell? " asked Nebuchadnezzar.

" Yes, but also no. I am his shadow, call me; Noctifer "

" What do you want, Bringer of Night? "

" Babylon will fall " said Noctifer, calmly, Nebuchadnezzar however; felt a burning rage in his chest.

" You dear utter such words! " exclaimed the King, hotly.

" I am merely stating a fact. My father will make it so "

" I care not for what your father decrees "

Nebuchadnezzar paused for a moment, he smiled and then said;

" I will finish my tower, I will enter your kingdom, and I will personally tell your father to, Fuck. Off. "

Noctifer sighed, as he recognized that pride.

" That pride will be your downfall, and with you, all of Babylon " said the Bringer of Night, as he vanished in the shadows.

King Nebuchadnezzar sat back down on his throne with a smirk on his face.

But what the King of Babylon did not know, was the fact that God had heard his words; and the Lord was not pleased with such pride.
