Chapter 16
Eric watched Arylan walk over to Aiden, “ what did you say?” she asked stopping in front of him
“ I’ve been crushing on you for years…”
“Aiden, you know im Muslim. I can’t.”
“wait for me then, I’ll become a better man in the future, I’ll love and take care of you with all that I have.”
“ I can’t ask that off you, ” she said taking a random taxi home.
How do you deal with one of your best friends confessing to you?
“ I’ll send you the location, ” she said to the driver.
He pretended to receive the location, Arylan sent out a tracker to Eric…something she always did out of habit. The driver drove away from the allocated location…
“excuse me did you get the location wrong, ” she asks but he closes the window connecting the both of them. She tried opening the door of the taxi but was immediately locked with the safety belt around her then gassed till she was unconscious…
The driver arrived at a different location, before dragging her into the abandoned warehouse where she was tied.
“She’s here, ” he said over the phone informing his master.
Eric continued to walk home with Aiden, trying to comfort him. They arrived at Eric's place where Aiden slept over…was his confession the stupidest thing he's done..the next morning he woke up and left for work. According to the app, Arylan had arrived safely at home.
Arylan woke up the next day with a headache from hell, hardly recalling what happened last night, after realizing she wasn’t home but in an abandoned area with no sign of life, she panicked looking for her phone but couldn't find it.
“ she’s awake!” a man yelled from across the yard
“ tie her mouth before she screams.”
“yes boss, ”he responded rushing over to Arylan tightening the ropes wrapped around her body…there was no escaping them.
Back home Tim was at it with Abdullah before confronting Biel about being open about Arylans past to her, so he was given the cold shoulder before being shooed away in anger.
Tim sat in his bar, upset and concerned. Biel had lost much trust in him
~ 30 years ago~
“ Are you sure he's gone?” young Biel asked pulling the bottom of his trouser
“He's gone, you can come out now.”
“what do I tell my father when I get home?”
“just say you were with me since he dispises Abdullah that much.”
“Awesome idea!”
He learned how to lie for her sake, but she always chose Abdullah over him.

“ Tim we found what you looking for, ” one of his henchmen says placing a box onto his table.
After everyone left the room, he looked through the box placed in front of him, it had the evidence for the killing of two childhood friends.
Abdullah had stains on his hands…and wasn’t afraid to spill more blood…
Tim had what he needed to destroy him, Abdullah walked in after receiving his message to come over. he sat across him smirking in disgust.
“ Are you finally ready to spill the beans on their death?” he asked passing a cigar to him, “or should we do this the tough way?”
“ what will you get out of me admitting my crimes to you?”
“ I mean if you want to be on my good side. You should play along.”
“ Dear Tim, to you I may be weak…and may look stupid. But who knows, I might have the upper hand.”
Abdullah returned the cigar to him as he left the premises. Little did he know that Tim planted a tracking device onto him…
Aiden couldn’t get a hold of Arylan since he left for work in the morning, he wanted to inform her about his return to Pretoria. He felt that it was better that he kept his distance from her till he was ready to give her what she needed as an individual.
Grandmother who believed that Arylan was staying at one of her cousin's house as it was usual for her to do so whenever they got into a fight, so even if she was worried she felt reassured that she was safe.
“When did you bring her over?” he asks taking out an envelope full of money.
“last night...i didn't do anything as you said. Just gassed her and tied her."
"Tied her up!”
“you what!”
“I had to, she was restless.”
“I will have your head if anything happens before we confirm it, make sure that you feed her.”
“Okay boss.”
He left with his paycheck and rushed back to the warehouse where he threw food besides Arylan then proceeded to help her drink water before leaving her to be. He then left her there and went over to play cards. Arylan used the piece of glass she found earlier on the floor, as a weapon to free her hands from her doom, her fight for survival was a crucial one.
“what do you mean Arylan is missing!”
“ grandmother, she went missing last night, look here the app says she was dropped here, but actually her phone location disappeared in the middle of nowhere, ”Aiden said handing her the phone.
“ This is war, call uncle Tim over.” Grandmother said taking out her phone.
Once uncle Tim arrived she explained the situation to him, informing him about where Arylan was abandoned.
“Leave it to me…” Tim said leaving with the phone, as Aiden followed behind the both of them confused. None of them contacted the police or asked for help from any legal personal they were just making weird random phone calls the entire night, knowing that the captives intended to scare Arylan not hurt her.
After a while and a bunch of vehicles arriving, the location was pinned onto each of their devices as they made their way to wage war against the kidnapper.
