New year's

I still haven't heard from Chase, but it's cool I should stop hurting myself over some someone who doesn't care or even wants me.

Right now, I'm getting ready for the new year's party, that same party that my brother is thinking of asking Shaunna to be his gf. And I'm so excited for her to be my sister she is so nice and treat's me like I'm her little sister.

After arriving at the party with my brother as soon as we walked in together Chase is the first person that I saw but I act like I didn't see him since he can act like I don't even exist I'll show him that I can make him feel like he's not even there.

"Sis I'm going to grab us a drink I'll be right back" Mason whispered in my ear before leaving

I headed into the living room/ dance room to find my friends.

After I found them, mason soon returned with our drinks, and we decided to head out back because it was getting stuffy in there.

"When Is Shaunna coming?" I asked because I don't see her

"Oh around 11 because she is getting off work a little bit late" he stated

We continue to talk about nothing and everything until Shaunna reaches after she arrived, they head inside but I choose to stay outside because I wasn't feeling too well.

I was staring into space wondering how it feels to kiss someone when the countdown begins. After hearing the end of the countdown only thing I could feel is hurt and neglected because I soon realized that no one would like me for me.

It got quite after a while, and I was thankful for that because I could feel a migraine forming.

I decided to head further in the backyard because of the migraine when I got there, I saw a swing so i took a seat and start thinking about my life and what I could have down differently, to change the outcome but there is nothing that I could come up with.

I felt someone taking a seat next to me on the other swing without turning to look who it was.

"hey" I heard but I already know who it is

fuck that voice why can't he just leave me alone and go back to ignoring me like how he was doing couple of weeks ago.

I ignored him

"Look I'm just here to talk ok"

"What the hell do you want Chase because I seriously do not have time for you right now" I stated without even sparing him a look

"I just wanted to tell you that your boyfriend is cheating on you" he replied

"What the fuck are you even talking about?" I asked confused as fuck

"I just saw the guy that you came here with kissing another girl and I wanted you to know"

"Okay" I replied

At the same time my brother decided to call me so I quickly answered

"hey Mas" I answered with a smile on my face

"Where you at?" He asked

"I'm out back under the tree"

"Ok I'm on my way" He replied before hanging up

"Seriously you really inviting him here after what he had done?" I heard Chase asked me

"Yes, and what is your problem just leave me the fuck alone and stop acting like you give two fucks about me" i said

"Your right I don't" he said before getting up and leaving

after a while my brother reaches me and told me that he is ready to leave
