Chase POV:

I shouldn't have ended that call just hearing her voice after so much years and it still have that effect on me but I have to remember that she had broken my heart and now she had started a new family.

Like that should have been us only if she didn't have lied to me she just didn't trust me enough to tell me about her illness and all I ever did was loved her with all my heart a part of me still does.

Right has I was about to call her back my girlfriend/assistant come in to inform me of an important meeting that I have with M.Enterprise

I quickly leaves my office and head straight to the meeting room shortly after arriving I came to realize that I have forgotten my phone in my office seeing as the persons haven't arrived for the meeting as yet I quickly ran back to my office to go and getr it.

After reaching my office door I over heard Andrea talking to someone in my office after listening closely I realize that she most of been on her phone so i stayed outside to give her some privacy but the next word she said caught me off guard when I came to realize that its my phone that she is talking on.

I quickly entered the office and grab my phone from her hands

"why the fuck would you do that for!!" i shouted at her

"babe its just your ex girlfriend I just told her that you had moved on" she tried to explained herself but I wasn't having none of that

"and tell me now who gives you permission to answer my phone huh?" i asked her trying really hard to keep my emotions under control

"I'm sorry" she said

"you know what we are done" I said and walked out of the office and head back to the meeting room

Attending the meeting I didn't pay much attention to what was been said after the meeting had ended I quickly got out and tried calling Mara but it headed straight to voicemail seems as if she had blocked me
