Elise, who is an orphan, was one day transmitted to a murim(martial world) after an unfortunate car accident. There she was taken in by a clan and learnt many techniques but fates befell and conflict between clans started to rise; killing Elise in the process.

However, instead of reincarnating to a different world again, she suddenly time travelled back to the beginning before she was taken into the clan, while still retaining her knowledge and abilities.

Following the same path, she once again joined the clan but this time, she managed to survive and helped to win the clan war. But due to many people being jealous of her talent, she was betrayed and murdered by her own master.

As fate would have it, she once again time travelled back to the beginning; this time she vowed to have revenge… And successfully did so. But soon she was betrayed by people close to her again and again.

After a series of what seem to be endless world reset, she eventually dominated the whole of murim. But as if God was playing a joke on her, she travelled back to her 15 years old self in South Korea; while still retaining her ability.

Due to certain circumstances, she was later adopted by a Female CEO of a large corporation to hide the fact of her daughter’s death. Then soon the world started to change as monsters started to rush out from portals, and she began to think that she had gotten a greater bargain than she initially thought.

The Versatile Young Lady

On their way to her new home, Elise, who is now Sung Young-mi learnt that the Sung Young Corporation(SYC) is one of the largest companies in South Korea. SYC is even on par with some other large corporation from overseas.


The original Sung Young-mi developed a severe illness at a young age and passed away just a month ago.


"You don't have to worry about others exposing your identity; apart from the servants who took care of her, nobody had seen her ever since she was ill." Young-hee added, sitting next to her.


"Understood, madame." Young-mi replied with a formal tone, but perhaps a bit too formally.


To Young-mi's response, Young-hee quickly added, "From now on don't call me madame...but mother instead."


Not long later, the car finally came to a stop after going through a security gate protected by guards. The two of them got out of the Black BMW with the assistance of the two bodyguards.


In front of Young-mi was a large mansion with a huge front garden that had a water fountain in the centre. If Young-mi remembers correctly, the style of the mansion was that of a British historical mansion.


Although, it was nothing compared to the mansions that Young-mi had seen or even owned in murim but it was big enough to hold a party of over hundreds guests and still has much room left. Plus, the main residents of the mansion only amounts to about thirty including all of the servants that live on-site.


Walking over to them were two maids and an old man who appears to be the butler, they quickly caught up in no time and greeted Young-hee and Young-mi. It appears that they were already instructed beforehand about Young-mi.


"This is my trusted butler, Albert. If you need anything, just call him and he should be able to sort it out." Yong-hee introduced them, including the two maids who from now on will be serving Young-mi. The two were a couple of years older than Young-mi herself.


"Let's return home first. Edna, Chloe, please take care of the young lady."


After that, the two maids lead Young-mi into the manor and to her new room which was five times bigger than the hospital room that she was in.


The maids then helped lay out everything and prepared the bath for her. As Young-mi partially submerged herself in the large bath tub, she pondered to herself, 'Am I meant to feel happy?'


If one didn't know about her and heard what she just said, they would think that she is a greadyl and selfish brat. However, Young-mi couldn't help but find herself devoid of emotion, it was as if she didn't care about anything anymore.


At first when she was transported to the murim, she had always wished and dreamed of returning back to South Korea. And right now she is back. But she couldn't feel a single sense of accomplishment or joy.


While she was in the murim, she continued to strengthen herself in the hopes of one day returning back to South Korea, even after she was betrayed and killed by those close to her. But after many lives, she began to lose this hope until she completely lost it and long forgotten about it.


However, just as she began to reach the pinnacle of power and became a person who can easily shake the world with just her name. And ultimately reaching the pinnacle at the end, becoming the first ever to do so.


Instead of continuing her domination of the murim or allow her to finally rest, she was brought back to South Korea. She couldn't help but feel that even God has betrayed her.
