Suddenly David realized that her mouth wasn't moving, it was her mind he was reading. "Oh right, telepathy," he confirmed with himself. He then proceeded with setting up a communication between him and the woman telepathically. "Sorry about that, I forgot I can read minds...not that I'm reading your private thoughts or anything. I can only read active thoughts."
She laughed. "Yeah, it's okay. I'm just glad I can finally speak to someone. Well, even if it's not actually speaking. Hi, I'm Bahar Güstin."
"Nice to meet you, Bahar."
"I would shake your hand too but the glass."
David smiled, almost totally forgetting the hellhole he was in. "I know we're not really speaking, but you have an accent. It almost sounds Israeli."
"It is. I'm from Jerusalem originally."
"Jerusalem huh...why you're far from home. What are you doing here?"
