Chapter 10: The start of our Journey!!

Sora’s P.O.V

I’d slowly open my eyes as i see what looks like the inside of a tent. I’d groan as I slowly sit up grabbing my head in pain. “D-Damnit… my head…” I Realized I was in a bed as someone walked in, when I looked at the person she ran up and hugged me. “You’re ok! I was so worried!!” I looked at the person hugging me as I for some reason hugged back. “Uhhh Melody are you ok?” I asked confused. She just looked at me as she had tears in her eyes. “I thought you were dead…” I only became more confused as I tilted my head. “When you killed their leader… you collapsed…” I looked at her as she was crying, just then someone walked into the room, when I looked at the person I for some reason felt tears go down my face. “C… Cherry…” I said as Melody let go and got up facing Cherry.

“Ya we found her wondering around the woods.” I struggled to stand up, eventually standing up, slowly walking to Cherry. When I was next to her I hugged her as she hugged back. “I… I missed you Sora…” I was was crying as I felt tears that weren’t mine shoulder. I looked in her face as I saw she was also crying.

Cherry’s P.O.V

I looked At Sora’s face crying, I thought I wouldn’t ever see him again. “S… Sora I was scared I wouldn’t see you again…” I said as he gently rubbed my back as he smiled warmly with tears in his eyes. “I was also scared of that, we’re basically basically family Cherry…” He said as I noticed his hand hand some bandages on it, with a bit of red stains. “Sora are you ok?! What happened to your hand?!” I asked but practically yelled as he looked down at it. “Oh ya just caught someone’s sword with my hand” He started to laugh a bit as I quickly pulled his hand toward me. “W… Who did this…” I said basically growling as I glared at him.

“Ummm you don’t have to worry about that ok, he’ll never bother anyone again.” He said looking away pulling his hand away and headed outside limping. I looked at him leave as I was about to follow him the girl in here said. “Please don’t be mad at him… he helped save the last few people in this camp…” I looked at her confused, I as I nodded slowly. “When someone from a powerful group came… he tried to kill us all… but Sora risked his life to save us… and got hurt in the process…” I looked at the direction Sora went as I sighed. “That sounds like him, but why go so far…” The girl looks at me as she holds out her hand, causing me to look at her. “I’m Melody!... it’s nice to meet you.”

When she said that she tried to sound happy and smiled weakly, but I could tell she was sad, that she was about to cry. I can’t blame her, she almost died and most likely her close friends died. “I’m Cherry, likewise.” I took hold of her hand shaking it smiling hoping that would help her. She just looked down as I sighed, just flicking her nose. “Stop being so sad, would they want that?” I said as she looked at me with a little bit of tears in her eyes. “But… we won’t be able to survive if the send more people…” I sighed again as I glared at her, speaking now In a strict tone. “Listen here, Sora risked his life for you, and I know him, if he has to, he’ll do it even in his condition!” I basically yelled as she jumped looking down crying a bit more. I rubbed the back of my head sighing “look, if you want to stop worrying, get stronger, don’t rely on Sora ok…” I said as I walked out of the tent towards Sora.

Sora’s P.O.V

I looked around to see the after math of the fight with that leader. “This place is nearly destroyed… and… and… it’s…” I looked around to see the tents and some trees burned. “It’s all my this place was destroyed… if I had acted faster…” I heard foot steps behind me, I looked back to see Cherry walking up to me. She just hugged metightly, with tears in her eyes. “Huh? Cherry are ok?” She nodded into my chest as I looked up realizing I’m not home anymore, and won’t return anytime soon
