Chapter 11: Demon's Awakening!

Sora’s P.O.V

Sometime passed as I was now in the woods around us, to collect firewood. I walked deep inside it as I was picking up some sticks and if I’m lucky some random logs from trees. Eventually while collecting wood I hear a woman’s voice. “I see that side has started to awaken has it…” I quickly turned around to see a woman I had never seen before, tilting my head. “Who are you?” I asked as she sighed, shaking her head, and she then started walking towards me as I backed up a bit. “Seems like you don’t remember me… how useless can you be'' She said as I could hear the disappointment in her voice.

“You can’t even control your flames, are you really his son?” I was shocked when she said that. “How does she know about my flames?” I thought as Her body bursted into flames. “Your… your just like me right…” when she heard that she started to laugh a bit as if mocking me. “Yeah right, I’m on a completely different level than you… I actually have control over mine.” She held her hand up as she formed a small fire ball the size of her hand. “Now let’s see the real you…” She pointed her hand at me as she smirked. “Brother…”

When she said that I felt something go through my chest, causing me to look down to see a hole where my heart is. “W… what h… happ… happened…” I’d fall to the ground as my body felt heavy, my eye sight started to fade as I could barely hear anything. I then barely heard what she said. “Such a disappointment… might as well kill your friends next…” when I heard that my body was too heavy for me to move, but with what vision I had left I saw a burst of fire surround me. I saw trees above me, closing my eyes.

???? P.O.V

I saw a burst of fire from where my brother came from, and as it faded around him I saw him standing with a hole where his heart should be, but after a few seconds I saw something pitch black cover the hole for a few seconds. My brother looked down with his eyes closed as the pitch black stuff around the hole as it faded as his wound was completely healed. I just smiled as he looked up, opening his eyes, while his right eyes were crimson red. “So you finally awakened, have you.” He just growled as he walked towards me as the shadows started to form on his arm turning it black.

The shadows continued to slowly go up his arm as his right eye flashes bright crimson red as he growled while approaching me. “It seems that you haven’t fully come to your senses yet.” I sighed as he charged at me swinging his fist at me, I step to side when he’s next to me and swung my knee up, kneeing him in the gut. He fell to the ground holding his stomach. “Do you really think you can beat the daughter of the devil?” I said as he looked at me growling, with his one crimson red eye flashing with the shadows making its way to his face. I took a step back as something had knocked me down, when I hit the ground I realized he had swung his leg hitting mine knocking me down.

“Heh good job brother, you managed to knock me down.” I said as I jumped up with him punching me in the face as soon as I jumped up, knocking me back a bit as I looked at him smirking. “You’ve gotten faster now, good means I don’t have to hold back.” The shadows started to change half of his hair to white as he growled, as he moved towards me at a speed I couldn’t react to. He swung his fist at me as I was only able to just block it. “D-Damnit!” I said as the force from the punch blew me into a tree. When I hit the tree I coughed up a bit of blood, looking at my blood I growled. “How dare you… how dare you make the daughter of the devil bleed!” I said as my body bursted into flames, with me looking at him. “I’ll kill you”

I stood up as I held up hand up as all the fire around me started to flow to my hand. “Get ready to die, you bastard!” The fire formed into a flame sword as i gripped it. As soon as I gripped it, the shadows that surrounded half his body started to form one wing on his back as his once crimson red flames, turned pitch black. “W-What the hell?! Black flames, but that’s… that’s his flames!” The black flames went up as he held his hand up as the formed a sword as well, a black sword.

Sora’s P.O.V

When I opened my eyes, something felt different… my body, I felt power surging through me, but I couldn’t control my body, it’s like something else was controlling it. I could see the entire fight as I couldn’t stop my body, I didn’t want to hurt her, I didn’t even want to fight right now. “I have to regain control of my body, or I might kill her” just then I saw my flames change from red to black as I held my hand up as my flames went to my hand. When the flames went to my hand I felt something heavy, but similar to the sword I used to kill the leader of the people who attacked us.

My hand gripped the heavy object as I brought it down to see a sword with a pitch black blade. It flashed with a dark light as I growled again as I faced her. “I don’t want to hurt her…” my body charged at her gripping the sword as she went to block with her, causing our swords to collide. She managed to block my swords attack with her flame sword. “Heh, nice try bastard! It seems like you don’t know how to use a sword.” Just then her flame sword was breaking as her flames were flowing into my black sword. She flinched as she tried to back away as the shadows around me surrounded her feet keeping her in place as my sword kept stealing her flames.

“Y-You idiot! Stop, before you kill me!” She yelled as my growling got louder as I pushed harder on her flames. “Stop… please… why won’t my body listen to me!” I was thinking as I tried to stop my body but it would listen to me. The black fire around me grew as my sword kept stealing her flames. “Damnit! I have to do something!” I started to think as I managed say the rest out loud “SOMEONE HELP ME!!” As soon as I said that my original red flames shot into the sky covering the sky. “H-He’s regaining control over his body!”

The shadows started to spread across my body as I tried my best to resist it. The more I resisted the shadows the stronger they got. “Heh… just give in, accept who you truly are!” She said as she fell to her knees as ima sword had nearly taken all her flames. “N… No! I won’t give into the curse of the flames!” She laughed as her sword was nearly broken. “What curse! There’s no curse! The flames are from hell itself! Only one kind can have these flames!” She said as I kept trying to resist the shadows as her sword could barely take anymore. “W-What do you mean by that!” She laughed a bit as she looked at me in the eye. “You’re a demon!” When she said that, I didn’t know how to react as I then heard Cherry’s voice as the woman’s managed to hit me in the gut.

I fell to the ground with the shadows fading as my hair returns to normal, and the darkness that covered my arm was gone, and my one wing faded. The woman looked down at me sighing. “See you later brother…” She said as she was covered in what flames she had left and vanished. Cherry came running up to me as I looked my hand that held the sword, as it, somewhat shattering. “SORA!!” I heard Cherry yell as I struggled to stand up as I felt someone help me up. “Thanks Cherry…” I said grateful that she came. “What happened Sora?” She asked me worried as I looked at her sighing. “I’ll explain back at the camp ok?” Cherry nodded as I just started to head to the camp with her helping me.
