Chapter 13: Friend or Foe?!

Cherry’s P.O.V

We were walking back to camp with me and Melody a bit ahead of Sora, as we heard something fall down behind us. “Huh? What was that?” Melody said as we looked behind us to see Sora passed out. “Sora!” Me and Melody ran to Sora as he wasn’t moving. “I-Is he ok Cherry?” Melody asked as I nodded trying to pick him up, as Melody helped me. “Let’s get him to a tent Melody!” I said basically yelling as she nodded, helping me carry him to a bed.

As we were carrying him to a tent, we noticed the few people here in camp were watching up. One person came up to us as he asked us. “Is Sora ok? What happened?” We stopped moving as Melody looked at him. “He just suddenly collapsed as soon as we entered the camp.” He helped us carry Sora by basically putting him on his back. “I’ll help you carry him to our infirmary tent.” He said as he started to carry him to the infirmary tent.

“T-Thank you so much.” Melody said as he nodded, after about a minute or two we reached the infirmary as we lay him down on an empty bed. “There we go, now we should let him rest for a bit.” He said as I nodded, as Melody sat next to Sora’s bed. I looked at them before heading out of the tent. As soon as I left the tent I could see someone in the distance. She had blue hair, somewhat golden and blue eyes, I tried my best to see who it was. The person started to move towards the camp as I could start to clearly see who it was. “Wait… is… is that Mia?” I thought as she got closer slowly.

I start to approach her as I was trying to see if it was her. Eventually we was close enough to see and hear each other. “Mia… is… is that you?” She just looked at me not responding. “It is you right Mia?” I was happy, that means Sora wasn’t seeing things. “Mia, I’m so glad you’re ok… where were you all this time?” She just walked to me slowly, then started to run at me. “H-Huh Mia what ar-.” Before I could finish my sentence I saw her right fist coming at me. By mostly instinct I quickly moved away from her.

“M-Mia what the hell?!” I had to quickly regain my balance as she turned her body around swinging her left leg at me. I quickly put my arm up to block the kick, but when I blocked the kick it felt like my arm was going to break from the amount of pressure from the kick. When she put her leg down I quickly backed up as I looked at her trying to figure out what was going on. “W-what the hell Mia why are you attacking me!?” I asked slightly yelling but she wouldn’t respond as I saw people from the camp gather around worried.

“Cherry are you ok?!” One of them yelled as I realized that they shouldn’t get closer. “Wait! Don’t get any clos-.” Once again before I could finish my sentence I realized Mia was gone and in front of the one that yelled to me. “T-The hell?!” He said before she swung her left fist at him hitting his gut causing him to cough up blood. I could only watch as she brutally beat down everyone insight.

Melody’s P.O.V

I heard Cherry yell as I could hear others yelling in pain as I looked at Sora worried. “Sora… please be ok…” I looked at the guy with me with a serious look. “Look after him, you hear me.” I said with him nodding, I stood up as I ran outside. “Cherry what’s going on out here?!” I asked as I saw nearly everyone on the ground, I noticed that there was a girl with dark blue hair standing above the bodies of people. She looked at me glaring.

“MELODY GET OUT OF HERE!” Cherry yelled as the girl started to run at me I quickly braced myself as she swung her left leg at me, kicking me in the side causing me to be blown back a bit. I gripped my side as she quickly threw her right fist at me hitting me in the face, causing me to fall to the ground. Right when I fell to the ground she swung her right leg up kicking me in the stomach, due to the amount of pressure from the kick I was blown into one of the tents.

I coughed up blood as she walked up to me crouching down gripping my hair. She pulled my head up as she glared at me. “Where is he?” She said in a serious tone, which confused me. “H… He? Wh… who are you t… talking about?” I asked hoping it wasn’t who I thought it was. She growled a bit as she slammed my head down on the ground. “You know who I’m talking about!” She yelled as I looked up at her seeing Cherry right behind her, as she swung her left fist hitting the girl in the back.

“Leave her alone!” She yelled as the girl looked back before throwing her leg back kicking Cherry in the gut blowing her back a bit. “Heh.. this is nothing…” I could her her say as I tried to stand up. “Mia… calm down, I know we barely knew each other, but from what I knew you are a kind person!” Right when Cherry the girl she called Mia swung her left fist at her as Cherry quickly caught it, with her slightly yelping in pain. Cherry used her other arm to grip Mia’s arm as she threw her over her shoulder causing her to land in her back.

“D-Damn, I thought you were going to break my hand.” Mia got up as she faced Cherry, as it was getting colder. “Just tell me where he is…” She said as I slowly walked to Cherry. “W… we won’t give him to you?!” I said as it seemed like that made her snap. “If you won’t willing give him…” She glared at us as it got colder than before. “Then I’ll force you to hand him OVER!!” She said as the ground around her started to freeze and turn to ice. “T-The hell?!” The ice that was freezing the ground was coming towards us, I pushed Cherry out of the way as the ice hit me. When the ice hit it slowly went up my body.

“MELODY!!” I heard her yell as the ice was half way up my body. “Those touched my this ice will freeze to nothing.” Mia said as it was at my shoulders, but it stopped there. “H-Huh?” I said as I saw Mia walk to me slowly, glaring at me. “If you tell me where he is I’ll let you go, other wise you’ll just be a block of ice” she said to me as I only looked at her. “I’ll n-never tell you where he is!” I yelled causing her to growl a bit as the ice went up my shoulders slowly.

Cherry’s P.O.V

I watched as the ice was slowly moving up her body, I was struggling to stand as I could only stand up half way. “LEAVE HER ALONE MIA!” I yelled as she faced me as I was on my knees basically. For some reason my body felt weird, it was like I was where I was at, but where Mia was. The next second the ice was slowly moving up her neck. “LET HER GO!!” The moment I yelled that the ground started to shake as I wanted to get her free. “What’s going on?!” I think Mia said, but I couldn’t fully hear her as I was only focused on getting Melody free.

The more I wanted her free, the more violent the ground shook. “The hell are you doing?!” Mia yelled as I glared at her as the ground around me was starting to crack and break. I forced my body to stand, as I faced her slowly as the ground around me was starting to crack and break more. “You… you hurt my friend…” I started as the ice around Melody started to crack. “H-Huh?!” Mia quickly looked Melody as the ice was starting to fall apart. “And You want Sora…” I continued as I slowly took a step towards her as the ground started to break open.

“H-How the hell are you doing this?!” I slowly breathed in as my eyes went from brown to bright green. “We will never give him to you… I don’t care if you are his friend… you are hurting mine…” the ice around Melody shattered as Mia looked at the shattered ice. “W-what happened… I thought I was going to die…” Melody said as Mia noticed that there were small roots around her. The ground, around me quickly broke open as I glared at Mia, with roots shooting up in the sky. “LIKE MELODY SAID WE WILL NEVER GIVE SORA TO YOU!!”
