With the journal entry finished and the fish caught, they started making their dinner, talking about random things as they went. Braelyn heated some vegetables and toasted some more bread over the fire while Ethan cleaned the fish and laid it in a pan that Braelyn had waiting. Once it was cooked and ready to eat, they ate in silence, watching Nova scamper about through the trees. The tiger was truly still a baby and loved to play, but it was growing bigger by the day, and would soon be a large and fierce companion. As they watched, Nova began to move more slowly, seeming to stalk something in the bushes about a hundred feet away from them. In the blink of an eye Nova pounced onto the bush and let out a funny sounding screech, she was so young that even her fierce sounds were cute and funny. After jumping into the bush Nova rolled over until she got to her feet again then stood, a look of triumph in her eyes, and in her mouth was a plump little brown rabbit.
