Dream Walk Conclusion

Garvit was not more than a dozen steps away now, and Braelyn saw him standing at the door to Chief Lucien’s home. Garvit raised his right foot and kicked the door down. There was a cry of fear from the man inside.

“Get out here.” Garvit demanded as he stormed into the building and began to drag Lucien out by his tail.

“Let me go you beast.” Lucien screamed, voice full of fear and pain.

“You are the beast, the monster, you have no morals and no soul.” Garvit said, throwing the old man to the ground in front of him. “You murdered my father, you poisoned him, you coward.”

“You have no proof of that.” Lucien said.

“I have proof he was poisoned.” Garvit growled. Lucien looked terrified at these words.

“Get away from me, you mongrel.” Lucien’s voice crackled and trembled, diminishing his command to a weak request.
