Convincing The Chiefs

“How dare you say that.” Azaylah sounded outraged.

“I have already been told as such.” Drazgo said. “But you have yet to tell me why.”

“Last night I had a vision that was sent to me by the gods, a vision of the true events that took place all those years ago.”

“I find that hard to believe.” Drazgo said.

“I am loathed to agree but I too find it hard to believe.”

“How about I prove it to you then.” Braelyn said looking at them. “Azaylah, the Canatua chief you told me about, the one who was attacked and mortally wounded was named Lucien, his son was Matias. Matias had a son named Callum.” Braelyn saw the dawning realization on Azaylah’s face. “And Drazgo, the Dorazuun chief you spoke of, that was attacked and did not retaliate, his name was Felic. Felic’s son was Garvit. And Garvit had a daughter named Bellamy.” Again, Braelyn watched as the knowledge sank in and the two of them understood that she was telling them the truth.

“How can this all be?” Drazgo asked.
