ME's POV

Wow...I loved the smell of the freshly baked strawberry cake...The place was packed with people, It was a catering home, they sold varieties of food and snacks ranging from yummy looking cakes to donuts, egg rolls and many others...They had different Nigerian dishes...Yum!!

I was still admiring the place when I heard a familiar voice of a girl talking to Daniel...

I turned around and it was one of those girls that was in miss Karen's office, that said I thought I owned the world and brought up my dad...

I was angry, shocked and tired...I just wanted to hide, but before I could, Daniel chose that time to introduce us.

Daniel_ M.E, meet Sarah my coworker and our course mate...Sarah meet my only friend, Mary...

I didn't even get the chance to talk before Sarah suddenly hugged me and apologized...

Sarah_ "I'm sorry for what I said earlier..I was angry at that time, hope you can forgive me.."

I was dumbfounded, I just nodded not knowing what to say...

Sarah_ "By the way, why are you here David,your shift doesn't start until 4hours from now??

Daniel_ I'm Daniel actually and I thought I should come help since I'm less busy...M.E come this way, sorry 4 keeping you standing... There's a table pretty close to the service point, so we can chat while I fix something for you to eat...

Still in a daze, I followed Daniel and sat in the place he told me to.

"Sarah a new customer just came in, go see what he wants..." One old lady said from where I presumed to be the kitchen...Sarah left and Daniel said he'll fix his favourite meal for me, so he left me with my thoughts...

Soon, he was back with a plate of porridge yam with scent leaf and fishes and other yummies...I was already salivating, then i saw two spoons and the food was pretty too much for only me, which meant we were going to eat together, i suddenly felt shy...
