ME'S POV

We had CHM101 that morning...when we entered the class, we looked for a quieter part of the class and settled down...we started talking casually before the lecturer came in...

We got to know to know each other's favourite things like food,color, e.t.c

I once again thanked him and apologized for my past behavior...

"No qualms...can we be friends...?? He asked..

" I don't mean any bad thing...just a normal friendship..having each others backs and besides you should be happy and honoured I'm asking you...he said hiding a smile

I just laughed and said of course....you just made my day..

The day went by pretty fast...An announcement came that there was going to be an important meeting and for that reason, lectures were cancelled...So we both went to miss Karen's office...

When we entered the office, she handed me my papers and dismissed us hurriedly because she was about going out for the meeting but before she left, she asked me to stay out of trouble that I fit in that category...I just kept mute while Daniel answered her..

"Don't worry about that miss Karen, I'll make sure of that, she's my friend after all...

Miss Karen just hmmmed, rolled her eyes and shooed us out of the office..

I sighed because I was relieved that she didn't shout or scold me...

We walked out of the school building together and I dragged him towards the car park..

Daniel_ "where are we going??

" To my car, you can tell me where you live so I can drive you there...he said nothing while we drove to my car.. I unlocked the doors and we both got in while I drove out...

So where do you stay?? I asked him while driving and looking at him from my lashes.

Daniel's POV

I have work today, so I'm not going home...I lied...I didn't really lie tho, just that my shift doesn't start until 5hrs from the present time but I just didn't want her to follow me home...

"Okayy..where do you work then_she asked..

I gave her directions, then we arrived at D's..

I got down and closed the door, while she did the same, turns out she wanted to see where I worked from the inside..

We got in and we were greeted by a wonderful smell of freshly baked strawberry cake...
