The past

Xu Muye was at his apartment, the one he bought after moving out of the Xu family mansion. He was working, he had just sent the report on a shallow background of Lin Wanting. His phone rang. He looked at the caller and it was Brianna; he picked the call up.

“Hello?”

“Xu Muye, let’s have a video conference.”

“Alright, I will set it up in a moment.” He hung up. It took him ten minutes to set it up and connect it to his TV. He then made a video call to Brianna.

“Your Majesty.”

“Fa Xueluo has betrayed us. You can make your move now. I don’t want her to ever be able to recover.”

“Yes, any more requests?”

“Lin Wanting’s cousin, can you find out more about him? He may be a potential ally.”

“Yes, I already found out more about him, he seem to have something against Lin Wanting. My source says he’s going against Lin Wanting just to spite her.”

“Then he will make the perfect ally. See if you can contact him.

“Yes.”
