Want to tell me what's going on Mother

“Hospital? Which hospital?” Cathy asked.

“Your mother’s hospital headquarters in New Jersey. She is undergoing emergency treatment.” Adam yelled quickly, which escalated the sense of emergency in Cathy.

“Alright, I’ll be there as soon as I can.” Cathy said and hung up.

The word ‘hospital’ already alerted Jacob and his attention was on her during the call.

“What is it?” He asked.

“My mother…she attempted suicide.” Hearing herself say that response spooked her.

She was feeling so many emotions at once that she didn’t know what to do about it, but she knew she had to see her mother immediately.

Before she could make a move, she felt herself engulfed in a hug. Jacob embraced her.

“Are you alright?” He asked. He was worried about her.

After answering him earlier, she had not made a move in five minutes, it was like she was deep in thought, which he could not blame her for.

She had just found out about her mother’s attempted suicide after all.
