Everyone fell silent as Yuu Hidaka adjusted his position on the couch he was sitting on. 


The twins had slightly calmed down from the revelations. And as the truth sunk in, they felt sad for their cousin and betrayed at the same time. 


"I'm going to tell you everything," Yuu started, his eyes intent on her daughter who looked calm outside. But inside, he knew there was a storm raging on. "But you have to promise me something, Yui." 


Her eyes were now darker than earlier. And that wasn't a good sign. 


"What?" she ground out, making Jun put a hand on her shoulder. 


"Promise you won't go after her, after I told you everything," Yuu said, speaking in Japanese. 


The old man saw her daughter grinding her molars. But she bit back an answer he didn't expect. 


"That was unexpectedly easy," Yuu grunted and finished his tea.
