Lunch or any time with Nina was a rare thing... became a rare thing with time. But, Lucille had a bone to pick with her sister. Nina’s reply to Lucille’s rant was, “Daddy said it was best you didn’t know. Knowing you, you probably would have flown out there to yell at him.” Which was true. But that settled everything. “You had dinner with Wes?”

Lucille sighed. The kids are very unpredictable. “We ran into him a month ago.” She told her everything. Including Carrie’s talk about how Lucille broke him and Marvin’s reply. And then the plot to get them to go out to dinner.

“You wouldn’t believe this, but, I was cleaning out my office and...” Nina told Lucille how Marvin found the picture from when he was a baby and everything that was said then. They both couldn’t help laughing. Especially because of how easy it was for the boys to tell Wes liked her.

“I can’t believe you kept that.”

“Of course I did. I paid for it. No one wanted you two together more than me.”
