We all have a plan for our lives, a path we see ourselves taking. For Nova Gray, that path was simply to leave the town and the act she had to live behind. Her dream is to study Zoology and finally be who she is and not who she is supposed to be. She doesn't know what happened the summer after freshman year, all she knows is she came home different and is thrown into a whole new world. At first, she thinks she is alone but when a group of new kids move to town, Nova begins to understand who she truly is. Now her life has truly begun, one she can call her own and one she never expected. A new life that will take great courage to enter and conquer.

A New Life

Nova couldn't help but laugh as she held onto Jay's hand as he lead her through the forest. The rest of the school year had flown by and senior year would start in two months. Between learning more about werewolves and what being a Luna meant and catching up on her in person and online classes, She had been quite busy. Of course, she and Jay had also made sure to spend plenty of time together. 


Her foot caught on another tree root and Jay declared, "Ok, that's it!" before Nova suddenly found her feet swiped out from under her as Jay lifted her into a bridle carry. 


A giggle escaped her lips as her arms wrapped around the familiar neck and shoulders of her soul mate. "It was your idea to blindfold me on a trip through the forest." 


She could practically see his pout as he said, "But, I let you not wear it for most of the journey. There are just more tree roots than I remember."
