Tick Tock

She felt dizzy, and fuzzy. But before she could think about it, he pulled her closer to him and swiped the card with his other hand.

It was really an executive suite, with gold doors and expensive bed linens. Pictures of him and his mum were on the table, with his hand wrapped around her neck and of him pecking her.

"My dad passed away when I was two." She looked at him in surprise, but he wasn't looking at her. His eyes were on the pictures, but his expression said he was in a place that wasn't characterized by space and time.

"I'm sorry Kelv." It was all she could say. She wished words like 'he has gone to be with his creator' and 'he must be together with your mum now' would come out of her mouth, but she feared it wasn't what he wanted to hear, and so said nothing, and hugged him instead.

"I texted the manager, they'll be here in a jiffy."
