:Stabbed

Aixela's Pov:

I felt the heating pad next to me when I woke up. I even covered my eyes because of the sunlight. I realized late that I was in the room with Officer Dy. The smell of him enveloped his room, even this blanket. Wait a minute, why am I smelling it?

I just got up and walked around his room. I saw a picture on the side of his bed. He looks very happy back then. Very different from now, where he's always frowning or emotionless. It looks like his dad is with him here in the picture. His face is familiar. It's like I've seen it before.

Oh yeah, I remember! Inspector showed me his picture before. Officer Dy looks very much like his dad.

I placed the picture back and looked at his belongings. His room is filled with books. Maybe he really likes to study and be alone. Is that how much he really wants to be a detective? After all, that was his dream and promise to his dad. Well, even me, I want to fulfill my dream of becoming a famous writer just like Mimi.

I looked at his uniform and touched it. Officer Dy looks respectable when he's wearing it but, what if he's a detective? Definitely, it suits him more. "Detective Dy..." Good to hear. I hope he'll pass the test.

"Oh my! I almost forgot! He has work today. I haven't been able to cook yet. Shocks!" I said to myself and immediately went out, but I was shocked to see someone else outside.

"We'll clean it well," said the man, and they lifted the couch out.

"I've already cooked breakfast," Officer Dy said as he put the food on the table.

I closed the door as the truck left. "Where will they take the couch?" I asked.

"Of course, as you heard, they will clean up. As if they will stare at your blood there."

"Heyyyy!" I yawped. He just smirked.

"By the way, how's your belly? Does it still hurt?" He asked.

"Woah? Is that really you? Why are you so concerned? You even helped me to get rid of the pain last night," I jested.

He stared at me. "Don't ever mention that later to anyone, especially to Officer Yzerman."

I smiled. "Hmmm... Are you afraid that she'll get jealous?" I joked. He raised an eyebrow at me.

"I just don't want any more gossip to spread, and they will think differently of me," He explained.

"Okay, okay. I know. And why would I even tell them? I'm not even speaking," I quipped. He just rolled his eyes.

"By the way," I smiled at him genuinely. "I haven't thanked you last night. So, yeah, thanks."

He just continued eating.

Before we left, I poured myself with perfume. I don't even want to smell pungent later. From time to time, Officer Dy coughed while driving.

"Are you sick?" I asked.

"No, but it looks like I'm going to get sick because of your strong scent. Did you make the perfume as water and take a bath with it? It hurts my nose!" He complained.

"Is it too fragrant?" I asked.

"It hurts in the nose," He repeated. I just make a face.

Eventually, we reached the precinct. It looks like I've actually put on perfume too much. The ones I go through are wincing. Or maybe I smell pungent already? Ugh! It makes me so conscious!

I distanced myself from people first. I don't want anyone to look at or smell me.

A few hours later, I felt my napkin was full. So I immediately went to the comfort room to change. I was shocked when I did not find even a napkin in my bag.

"Oh shoot!" I whispered to myself. I even slapped my mouth for uttering.

Ok, think Xela, think. Maybe there's a sanitary supply outside. Yeah, of course.

When I looked outside, it ran out of supplies. Now what? Ugh, I hate myself.

I need to solve this, or else I can spread it out somewhere else. Yeah right! There is a mall near here. I'll just buy it there. I won't let Officer Dy know because I'm sure he'll scold me. I'll just hurry!

I immediately went to the mall and went straight to the comfort room there. Fortunately, there is an automatic sanitary napkin vending machine there. I immediately changed and washed my hands. On my way out of the mall, I was surprised to see Officer Dy there. I don't know why he's here. But while he hasn't seen me yet, I should be able to escape here.

I was about to walk away when I suddenly bumped into a lady. Her purchases fell off, so I had to help her. When I glanced at Officer Dy, he was looking at me in shock. When he realized what's happening, he comes towards me.

I hurried to pick up the lady's belongings so that I could leave, but I was distracted when someone shouted. I was shocked because Officer Dy suddenly overtook me, and we fell to the floor. He immediately stood up and pulled the man who shouted. He was holding a knife, so people were shouting outside the mall. Officer Dy continued to fight with the man until some other police officers arrived and arrested the man.

"Are you alright?" Officer Dy asked.

Things are happening so fast. I just nodded in shock until I was stunned to see that his side was bleeding.

I didn't know what to do and just looked at him as my tears flowed from fear and shock.

"Don't cry. He just scratched me lightly. It's not a deep wound, so don't worry," He uttered.

"Officer Dy," said a police officer and helped Officer Dy to stand. They put him in the police car, and I also quickly followed and sat next to him.

I was restless and didn't know what to do. I just kept crying too.

"Stop crying. I'm not going to die just because of this. You're only making my wound hurt more," He groaned.
