"You knew I wanted her to work for me yet you took her. I want her to be transferred to my company," Alexander told Soleil.
"I am not going to let her go this time, Alexander. She's mine," Soleil replied, calmly.
"No, she belongs to me. I don't want to play this game with you. Let her go Soleil."
"And if I don't?" Soleil asked with a smile. Alexander felt something was wrong. Soleil was not this possessive of her in the previous lifetime.
"Anyway, I have a deal. Why don't we share her? That way, she'll be ours." Soleil suggested which angered Alexander.
"Are you kidding me?" He roared. "I will not share her with anyone. She is mine and only mine."
Soleil chuckled. "I'll give you time to think about it. But I'm sure you'll agree."
"I'm tired of playing. You drain all my energy, Fynfyn [1] ." Soleil said.
"Don't you dare call me that. Only she can." Alexander said.
"Ha. Like she remembers anything. She won't."
"She's regained part of her memories. Though it's only a small part." Alexander said which shocked Soleil.
"How? They were sealed."
"My priestess. She also opposed my relationship with her and I think she wanted to warn her about us."
"Of course she opposed it," Soleil said matter-of-factly. "She's your sister. You're related by blood."
"And I don't care," Alexander said.
"How did you handle the situation with your priestess?"
"Serena regained her memories after she died. I cursed her soul as punishment. She won't ever be able to reincarnate."
Soleil laughed. "Your ways are still as cruel as ever, Fynfyn."
"Let's go get a cup of coffee, Lili," Alexander said calling Soleil his embarrassing nickname.
"Alexander," he growled.

"Thanks for helping me out today," Serena told Kraig as they paid for their lunch at the cafe.
"No need for thanks. I'm supposed to be thanking you for saving me. I think I would have died."
"I know it's not in my place to ask but," Serena looked at Kraig. "What happened?"
"That's the price of trying to be good."
"What do you mean?"
"I refused to accept bribes. It's not like I was going to say anything anyway. I was gonna mind my own business."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Serena wanted to step out of the cafe but bumped into someone.
"Watch out." Kraig pulled her to his side.
"I'm so sorry," Kraig apologized on her behalf.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you," Serena apologized too.
She looked at the person she bumped into and saw two men that towered over her. Both men had Adonis-like figures. Perfectly sculpted faces, even though they looked quite skinny, she knew that they were well built.
One of the men had dark hair and green eyes. He wore an indifferent look on his face but kept staring at Serena which made her uncomfortable. Also, she found him familiar.
The other man had blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. Unlike his stoic-faced friend, he had a small smile on his lips. His eyes were warm as he stared at her. He spoke first, "We accept your apology."
They made way for Serena and Kraig to pass. But as Serena went out the door, the man with green eyes whispered into her ears, "We'll meet again soon, Serena."
Serena, shocked, turned to look at him but he had already entered. She wondered how he knew her name. Her instincts told her to stay away from them.
Meanwhile, inside the cafe
"Who was that guy she was with?" Alexander asked.
"I don't know," Soleil replied.
"I don't like him. He reminds me of someone."
"Me too."
The both of them stayed silent for sometime before they looked at each other.
"Kreag," they both said simultaneously.

"I'll be going now, Serena," Kraig said as he walked Serena to the door of her unit. "Thanks for everything."
Serena smiled. She had just made her first friend Capital City and now he had to go. "My pleasure."
Before she could go inside, Kraig held her hand. "I'll miss you," he said. He didn't want to part with her.
"Me too." She said. She enjoyed his company today. It was a pity they were parting so soon.
"If you need my help, don't hesitate to call me." He gave her a card. Serena accepted it. But suddenly she was pulling into his embrace. He buried his face in her shoulders.
"Goodbye, Serena." He pecked her cheeks and ran to the elevator.
Serena was in a daze. She touched the place where he kissed and smiled before she took her groceries inside.
'Kraig Wesley.' That was the name written on the card.
Meanwhile outside the building, Kraig chuckled. "My Serena is still so cute."
But his face darkened as he remembered something. "Fyn, Ljcht [2]. I'm back. No harm will come to her this time."
