Chapter 11

The sandy terrain turned to grass as they left the badlands. Roselia was not as hot as the badlands. It was more breezy and cool. Up ahead was the small town of Splendia. Upon entering, they came across a gate. The guard let them in. The town was more fancy than the other places Anna been so far.

"Hmm...Where could the next dagger be?" Anna asked. Esmia thought for a second.

"The Mountain of Roselia, it must be there," said Esmia. Anna looked at her.

"Isn't there a cave there?" She asked. Esmia nodded.

"We need a quicker way there than just walking, besides I need something to drink," said Anna. Suddenly, a car pulls up and the window rolls down.

"Need a ride?" It was Betty and she was driving a black car.

"Ah yes! And do you have something to drink?" Anna asked. Esmia laughed a little bit. They hop into the car where they stop at a gas station and Anna gets something to drink. When they got back in the vehicle, Anna gasps.

"Our bags! You got the back!" Anna said. Betty nodded.

"How'd you get them?" asked Esmia.

"They were dropped off by Raven in the middle of the Badlands," said Betty. "I assumed they were your bags" Anna smiled along with Esmia. They drove for the rest of the ride silently. The mountain was tall, but not as tall as the Kimchi Plateau. The road was rocky, very rocky. Betty struggled to drive up to the top, but eventually made it. She parked her car and everyone got out.

"Alright, the cave should be over here on the other side of the mountain," said Betty. "Let's go." A path lead down to the other side of the mountain, where there was a strange outline on it. It looked as if it could open. Anna touched the wall.

"What if..." Anna grabbed her dagger of secrets. She jabs into it and then pulls it out. The mountain begin to shake. The wall rises up revealing the cave. The girls look at each other. They nod and enter.
