Chapter 5

Jayden drives away and the house is gone.

I sit back down and look at the locket in my hand.

I open it and see a picture of Jayden and me on one side and on the other side is a pic of my father and mother.

Jayden: Hey, You ok?

I look at Jayden and shake my head.

Jayden: What is wrong?

Yuri: Look at what has happened to my life…I am supposed to be at home worrying about my homework and the math test I have next week. But instead, I am running away from a dangerous mafia leader who is trying to kill me. And I just found out that my best friend & cousin are undercover agents.

Jayden: Don't worry, this will be over soon and hopefully we can have a normal second semester.

Yuri: Yeah hopefully…

After a while, I fall asleep and when I woke up, we were stopping at a diner.

Yuri: Why are we stopping here?

Timothy: We are hungry…we haven't eaten anything all day.

Yuri: Well okay then… let's go.

*In the diner*

We sat down and Mr. Son went to get our food.

Yuri: How far are we from the bunker...

Jayden: We are almost there…45 more minutes...

We all finish eating and Jayden is paying the bill.

I lean on the car looking at my phone.

Timothy: Here… It's vanilla...

I look at him and he is holding an ice cream cone with my favorite ice cream on it.

Yuri: Thank you, Timmy… now I know why you were so distant this summer…why did you just not tell me you guys were undercover FBI agents?

Timothy: We are called undercover for a reason…and the only way for me to not tell you that you were the person we were saving was to not be so close to you.

Yuri: Well what about Jessica? What did you tell her?

Timothy: I broke up with her… it is not like I was using her… I genuinely liked her but I realized that she was too controlling and I do not want to be in a relationship where I have to listen to the other person and I have no voice in the relationship.

Yuri: Well I am glad that You have come to your senses and left her because she was the one using you.

Timothy: I am just glad that I can spend more time with you.

I look up at him and smile.

Yuri: Me too...

*Time Skip*

We finally at the bunker.

I hop out of the car and go to the trunk.

Jayden opens it and I take out one of my heavy suitcases, almost dropping it on myself.

Mr.Son: Here ma'am, let me help you...

He takes the suitcase out of my hand and puts it out on the ground.

Yuri: Thank you...

I grab the suitcase on the ground and start to roll it.

Timothy: Here give it to me...

Timothy takes the suitcase away from me.

Yuri: No I got it.

Timothy: Just give it to me... go inside.

I look back at the car and see that there is nothing else in the trunk so I start to walk to the bunker.

The bunker looks exactly like the old house.

Yuri: Wow…

I go upstairs to my room and everything is exactly the same.

Yuri: Everything is the same…

I jump up on my bed and immediately fall asleep. I guess I was so exhausted.

*Time Skip*

I wake up and look at the clock.

Yuri: 7:00!? Already? I can't believe I slept for 5 hours.

*grumble*

I look at my stomach.

Yuri: Let's go downstairs and put some food in me…

I get off my bed and walk to the kitchen.

Yuri: What do we have here?

I look through the refrigerator and see some Kimchi.

Yuri: Perfect...

I take the kimchi out of the refrigerator and decide to make kimchi fried rice.

I finish making the fried rice and plated it on this nice white plate with flower accents.

??: I want some!

I was about to put a spoonful of the hot and yummy food I just made, but I hear this familiar voice behind me.

I turn around and I was surprised.

Yuri: Sean??

I rub my eyes because I didn't know if it was true or not.

Yuri: Is that really you?

Sean: Haha very funny.

I walk towards the stovetop with a plate and served myself some fried rice.

Yuri: What do you expect me to say…you left for 4 days and there was no word from you since.

Sean: Well my cover was blown so I had to leave and plus I had to get this place ready for your arrival.

Yuri: So you work for my father?

Sean: No, I work for the government.

Yuri: Oh I see, wait what about Timmy and my cousin

Sean: Government as-well...

I make an O and nod my head.

Yuri: And your mission was to save a mafia leader's daughter...?

Sean: Your father has done a lot of good things for this country, even though he killed a lot of people…all those people that he killed were bad people. He always saved the good people and punished the bad people… he is a hero.

Yuri: Wow…I didn't know he was saving the country.

Sean: Yep...

Yuri: Well…I am going to take a shower and freshen up. I feel very dirty...

I put my dishes in the sink and go up to my room.

*After shower*

I get all ready and start doing my skincare.

I take all the bottles that I have to put on my face.

Jayden: Are you trying to make a potion or something? Why do you have 20 bottles out?

Yuri: Hehe…This is all for my face.

I take one of the bottles while he was talking and started applying it to my face.

Jayden: Your face!?! Do you think you are the Mona Lisa?

I start laughing and I accidentally spilled it all over the counter.

Yuri: AAH! Idiot…look what you made me do! This is my favorite product too!!

Jayden: That is not my fault… you are the one who laughed. But at least one less product you cake on your face...

Yuri: Get out!… Go!...

I point at the door and he puts his hands up surrendering and leaves.

Yuri: Ugh! I have to clean all of this up now!

I clean the mess up and finish my skincare.

I put everything away and I can hear yelling downstairs.

Yuri: What are they doing??
