Chapter 7

Jayden throws the bag full of sodas and runs to Isabelle.

Isabelle hugs him and he spins her around.

Jayden: When did you get back??

Isabelle: A few days ago... I went to uncle Park's house but no one was there. Then the neighbor told me that you guys came here.

Jayden: Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you. Anyways, where are mom and dad?

Isabelle: They are still abroad… I came here without telling them.

Jayden: They don't know that you are here?

Isabelle: They will know soon...

*ring ring*

Jayden looks at his phone and shows it to Isabelle.

Isabelle: They know now…

He picks up the phone and all of us can hear my aunt yelling through the phone.

Mrs.Park: Park Jayden! Where is your sister!

Jayden: Ow... mom…why are you yelling at me…I didn't know she came either.

Mrs.Park: Sorry…we are just worried over here.

Isabelle: Sorry mother… But I am safe.

Mr.Park: It is ok baby girl…just tell us next time you leave.

Isabelle: Yes father...

Mr.Park: Keep her safe, my boy…

Jayden: Of course father I won't even let a scratch on my twin…

Mrs.Park: We have to go now.. but be safe.

Jayden: Bye mom.

*Hangs up*

Isabelle: Yay I am free!

Isabelle flops on the couch and grabs a slice of pizza.

Timothy: Woah Woah Woah, you can't just walk in here and do whatever you want. There are some rules you need to follow here.

Isabelle looks at Timothy, unbothered, and takes a bite of the pizza in her hand.

Isabelle: Mhmm…sure.. but let me just enjoy this pizza first.

Jayden walks over to Timothy.

Jayden: You can never get her to listen to you…she will make you listen to her.

Isabelle: It is true…

We all laugh and finish dinner.

Stephanie: What is for dessert?...

We all go to the freezer and I open the door wide open so everyone can see.

Yuri: Nothing… There is absolutely nothing for dessert...

I close the freezer door.

Yuri: But I think there are some ice cream cones in the basement freezer…Ill go and check it out.

Sean: I will come with you…just incase.

Yuri: What will happen in the basement... the most that will happen is that a spider will appear

Sean: You never know...

Yuri: Fine...let's go.

Sean and I go downstairs and I look around while Sean gets the ice cream cones out.

Yuri: Woah…What is this?

I see a button and press it.

Sean: Don't press it!

Yuri: Woops too late.

The wall opens and there is a secret room with a weapon wall and a podium.

I go inside and walk to the podium.

The podium has a bright button, so of course, I press it.

A projector screen pops up and a person shows up.

Speaker: Agent Min… ready to record today's findings?

Yuri: Sean!! What is this?…and what are these findings?

Sean: Don't touch-… never mind, you already touched it.

Yuri: What are the findings….

I look at him and ask him in a quiet tone but he could tell that I was angry by the look in my eyes.

Sean: It is not what you think…let me explain.

Yuri: Then explain… I have all-day.

Sean: Thank you… as an agent, I need to update all the dangers on you or any findings I have on Mr.Cha's son.

Yuri: Mr.Cha has a son?

Sean: Yeah, and if we figure out who it is, it can be leverage towards saving you.

Yuri: Oh then that makes sense…I thought you were part of the other side. I almost kicked you out.

Sean: And thank you for letting me explain myself… I thought you were not going to let me explain myself like in the movies.

Yuri: I used to be like that but after a while, but I realized that everyone needs a chance to speak their side of a situation so there won't be any misunderstanding between each other.

Sean: And I am very grateful that you gave me a chance to speak.

Yuri: Anyways… What are all these weapons for?

I go over to the wall full of guns and bombs and stretch my arm out.

Sean: Do NOT touch them!

Sean drops the ice cream cone bag and runs over to me. He grabs my hands and pulls me back and stands in front of me

Yuri: Those are highly explosive and very sensitive. One-touch and boom.

Yuri: Boom….?

Sean: Yes boom!… We have them here just in case we get attacked, there are somethings that we can use to defend ourselves. So do not, I repeat, do not touch anything unless you are in absolute danger.

I roll my eyes while he is lecturing me.

Yuri: I am not a 5 year old…I know what is dangerous or not.

Sean: Yes, I saw what you consider dangerous or not.

Yuri: Yeah…Yeah whatever.

I grab the ice cream bag that Sean dropped on the floor and walk upstairs.

I come near the living room and held up the ice cream bag.

Yuri: The ice cream saver is here!

Timothy runs to me and grabs the bag.

Yuri: Timmy!

Timothy: What!

Yuri: Why are you in a hurry?

Timothy drags me to the kitchen, away from everyone

Yuri: What are you doing??

Timothy: Shh…I heard that Isabelle likes strawberry ice-cream.

Yuri: I know but why are we whispering.

Timothy: I was gonna take the strawberry ice cream out and throw it away so that I can take her out to the ice cream shop.

I gasp and put my hand over my mouth.

Yuri: You like my cousin...?

Timothy: I don't know…I am attracted to her… but I won't say that I like her.

Yuri: OMG….YOU-

I yelled so loud that Timothy had to shut my mouth with his hand.

Timothy: Don't yell!

Yuri: Oops sorry.

Sean runs over to the kitchen because he heard me yell.

Sean: What happened? What is wrong?!

Timothy and I looked at him and start laughing.

Yuri & Timothy: Nothing…

We slowly walk past Sean and then run to the living room.

I walk over to the couch with a sad expression.

Yuri: Aww guys, all the ice creams are expired...

Jayden: Well then what should we do?

Timothy: What about going to the convenience store.

Stephanie: Yess!!!
