Lu Weixi pursed her lips, about to say something, when she saw Qin Zhiyou get up, take a long stride, and sit down on the couch nearby. His handsome face lowered slightly, as if deep in thought, "The food was a bit salty just now. It'd be nice to have a glass of water."


Lu Weixi nodded, "I'll ask Auntie Hao to get you some water."


Qin Zhiyou didn't look up, his long eyelashes slightly drooping. He took out his phone and slid it open, "Auntie Hao is quite old; is it not inappropriate to disturb her at this hour?"


So she was supposed to go? Lu Weixi stood up and before leaving, she asked in a gentle tone, "Would you like warm water or milk? It's quite late for coffee or tea."


Qin Zhiyou had a "whatever you like" kind of attitude and indifferently responded, "Warm water is fine, I'm not picky."


Lu Weixi turned to the kitchen and really did fill two-thirds of a cup with hot water and added one-third of cold water.
