Tear-stained cheeks, my mascara was now an ugly smudge after being ruined with all the crying I had been doing for the past hour. I could not recognize myself as I looked through the mirror. The more I stared at myself the more the tears. I could hear them in the next room. Their moans enraged me and made me feel like throwing up. I retched but nothing came out. 

Disgust is what I felt.


My life had turned out to be a chaotic mess and I wondered what I had done to deserve all that. I was a good person or so I believed.

I smiled through the pain and thought to myself that everything was going to be okay. I did not believe that myself but I had to tell myself to keep going or I would be stuck in a loop with my past trying to set myself free...

DAWN.

I look up at him and he is staring at me mad.

"What was he doing here?"he asks .

"Who?"I ask . I know who is talking about though.

"Don't pay dumb you know who am talking about ",he says as he runs his hand through his hair and removes his suit jacket and tosses it on the bed. Am lost in thought because all I can think about is wr his arms can do as he pulls up his sleeves up his forearms .

"Am talking to you Ella",he says bringing me back to the reality of him actually not touching me.

"He just came to say hi and mum invited him to join us for dinner that's all",I say .

"I don't want him near you I don't care who said he should come",he says pacing my room.

"Why don't tell me ur scared that I still want him",I say already worked up now.

"I just don't want him near you that's it and am not joking",he says.

"I don't remember ever telling you to stop talking to Hayley have I",I say.
