Ella's POV

The place was really breathtaking I might say and peaceful. A place where you can run to when you are having trouble and need some time alone. I wanted to know how Jade found this place . " So you aren't going to tell me how you discovered this place huhh",I tell him.

" We'll have to trade you have to answer one question that I'll ask",he told me hiding a smirk . He got me cornered there, really smooth. I am a curious bi*** so let's get this going." Sure",I tell him , he looks taken a back by my answer . "Well I found this place when I was around 15 I was having problems at home and ran off. I was driving to no place in particular I just wanted to go far away sadly enough my gas ended down the road and I just needed some time to think . So as everyone will do I started walking down the road and left my car . At first I thought maybe there was a clubhouse here stupid right ,I just wanted to know and the sounds of the waterfall made me so curious . When I saw it at first it didn't look real like this are things we see in movies . To cut the story short I always come here when am feeling low." " That's pretty amazing can I share it with you know,"I asked him."of course you can anytime you feel like,"he said."Who is Ryan?"he asked I thought I heard wrong it can't be.'

"Sorry I didn't get you what did you ask",I tell him.

"Who is Ryan?"he asks again. I try to look composed as I can so he doesn't ask me many more questions,"he is my ex do you know him?"I ask him with a straight face." No I don't you just kept on saying his name last night like you are scared of him or something did he hurt you?"he asks concern visible on his face . If he only knew he didn't hurt me but he destroyed me ." No he didn't and can we not talk about him,"I tell him and he doesn't push me to talk and I appreciate it .

We sit there in silence as everyone is lost in thoughts. My stomach rumbles and I look over at the basket with food that we brought. I take fries and chicken nuggets .

I look over to Jade and he is just elsewhere but here.I think about what he said how he found this place what family issue could have made him run away from home anyway. I can't ask him because am not playing his game he might ask something I don't want to recall . I just decide that maybe one day we'll be close enough for him to tell me things for me naaaahhh he just can't know.

After eating I just lie down on the blanket that Jade laid down for us and feel like sleeping. It's so peaceful that nothing really can block my sleep."Let's go ," Jade says really when I was so comfortable sleeping he had to tell me we have to go."Are we going somewhere I should know?",I ask him . He doesn't answer me as his folds the blanket , well that's a good start for being friends don't you think?

I know enough not to persuade people into talking to me when they don't feel like it. I collect the remains of food and follow the bossy prick. The drive back to town is long and torturous . Filled with unbearable silence did I like do something wrong.

He doesn't talk to me as he pulls up to my place like he is waiting for me to exit the car so he can go. That is what I actually do I can't force an adult to tell me what's wrong. I make sure to shut the door by force when I get out of the car and don't glance back to see his reaction. I say hi to Don as I go to my apartment and drop on the couch.

I don't even feel like sleeping anymore the jerk spoiled it all. I go to my room to take a shower and maybe fix something for me to eat .

I change into my pyjamas after my shower and take my phone to check if I have any notifications. I open the green app and see some texts from Soffie which I a sweet and talk to her for a while .

I go to the kitchen and serve some food and come back to bed because I have to finish a series I didn't get to finish. I fall asleep in the middle of the movie .

Sunday I go back to work like any normal Sunday but this time round Jade doesn't stop by and he doesn't come over to my place later when am home and it gets me worried . Did something bad happen to him or something but I can't never know.

The week actually passes on smoothly with me attending my classes with Soffie , going to work later in the evening and so on and on .It's already Friday and I can't say how happy I am . Today is movie night and Soffie is coming over she is so excited about it and I don't know why . I go over to my place and Soffie says she will come over with some snacks. I guess this is good I need some girl time to get my brain into check.

After reaching my place I take a shower and wear some shorts and tank top and wait for Soffie to come.

My phone suddenly beeps and I wonder if Soffie isn't coming.

I look at my phone and the text I read nearly gives me a migraine.

"Are you busy Hazel?" I know who it belongs to a d I don't even feel like talking to him but then he is my friend not my boyfriend." Yeah am busy girls night,"I text him back as I save his number . He texts back and I don't get to see his text because there is a knock at the door and I know Soffie is here and rule number one no phone on girls night well rules are rules. I open the door and find an enthusiastic Soffie and it's no lie my night is amazing and full of fun I don't know how I had missed all this fun.
