Tear-stained cheeks, my mascara was now an ugly smudge after being ruined with all the crying I had been doing for the past hour. I could not recognize myself as I looked through the mirror. The more I stared at myself the more the tears. I could hear them in the next room. Their moans enraged me and made me feel like throwing up. I retched but nothing came out. 

Disgust is what I felt.


My life had turned out to be a chaotic mess and I wondered what I had done to deserve all that. I was a good person or so I believed.

I smiled through the pain and thought to myself that everything was going to be okay. I did not believe that myself but I had to tell myself to keep going or I would be stuck in a loop with my past trying to set myself free...

DAWN.

It was normally very loud and that's what disturbing,cars honking loud blast music everywhere.

She stood up from her bed and went towards her window and opened the curtains and peeked outside. It was still dark but the sky was clearing up. She went to her kitchen and prepared a cup of coffee and went to sit at her balcony staring into oblivion. She felt at peace. She needed more moments like this . For once her mind was not in a mess thinking about a thousand things and she smiled . For once she believed that it was going to be a good day.

"I haven't seen you guys in forever",says Ella as she sits down with her friends.

"You never come to hangout anymore how are you going to see us",says Caleb sarcastically and everyone else blasts into laughter.

"Yeah you're right ,maybe we could hangout tonight you guys free?" She asks.

"Sure we can hangout tonight",they all say in unison.
