Tear-stained cheeks, my mascara was now an ugly smudge after being ruined with all the crying I had been doing for the past hour. I could not recognize myself as I looked through the mirror. The more I stared at myself the more the tears. I could hear them in the next room. Their moans enraged me and made me feel like throwing up. I retched but nothing came out. 

Disgust is what I felt.


My life had turned out to be a chaotic mess and I wondered what I had done to deserve all that. I was a good person or so I believed.

I smiled through the pain and thought to myself that everything was going to be okay. I did not believe that myself but I had to tell myself to keep going or I would be stuck in a loop with my past trying to set myself free...

DAWN.

<p>When darkness comes it engulfs you in whole and you are trapped. Many people would choose to stay there because it is always comfortable and you do not have to worry about anything else. You always feel like it is the right choice. The bright light of the sun scorching  your skin each day making you question your existence. Each day is worse than the previous day and you always want an out. Why just give up though? Why not keep fighting? The thing is that some battles can not be won . You will just hurt yourself more the more you fight them because in the end you are both just losers . Why not just silence it all?</p>

<p>Time had never went slower before. Each second that passes was just another chance for the world to punish me. All I felt was excruciating pain. Everyone seemed gloomy in the house and everything reminded me of her. I felt so broken all I needed was a hug from my favorite person.</p>
