With sweaty palms, he entered the room. He had always had meetings but none of them had been important as this one was. The company depended on it, without this, there was no way he was going to manage paging the workers.

He had to do it because of them. He could not fail them.

He smiled as he took his seat and waited for the charter in the boardroom.to calm down. Other board members were there two and he knew how they felt. Some of them wanted the company to be closed and that was not something he wanted to hear.

He was the boss so they just had to listen to him. He was the one with the most shares so whatever he said was what happened. 

In situations like this votes did not matter. No matter how many people were against your decision at the end of the day you were the one who had to choose what to do.
