But I hate blood! 12

"Look at the massive bruise he left on you," the Head Maid sighed. "This won't disappear for weeks!"

Using a cotton swab, she disinfected the area. The stinging pain of the alcohol made Rebecca flinch but that brought out even more pain. Rebecca groaned under the excruciating pain spreading from her abdomen struggling to refrain from any unnecessary movements. Her consciousness slightly regained itself.

"Don't move," the Head Maid said. "I think a few of your bones are broken. I'll hurry the doctor in here. He's attending the knights right now."

Gently, she buttoned Rebecca's shirt back up and covered her in a blanket. About to close the door, she looked at the poor Rebecca and could only sigh. The worst thing for a servant was earning the wrath of your masters.

'Is she gone yet?' Avina asked. She could barely move, never mind turn her body around to see if she was gone.
