But I hate blood! 13

'What nonsense is this lady spouting?'

If Avina hadn't needed to pretend as if she was injured, desperately weak, and in need of attention, she would have looked at Livida as if she was a clown. Which, in her eyes, Livida was a clown. For now at least.

In the original story, Livida was less of a clown but the ringmaster. She knew which actions to take and which people to abandon and crush like ants. There was not a single decision she made on impulse leaving only decisions made on reasoning. She was smart, calculative, and knew how to use her charms well. How else would she be able to climb up so high?

Of course, according to everyone who ever knew of her, she was a darling. So sweet, simple, and kind. Although Avina would argue that she was not, who was to say that a part of her real self wasn't someone who wished to be sweet, simple, and kind.

'Nonsense that makes her look innocent,' 5025 replied to her rhetorical question.
