She nailed her moves

At the end of the day, Kim Hyejin tried on her dress and showed them off to her uncle and grandparents.

She even out on the figure shakes that matched with her costume. She stood at a place and strikes a pose.

"How do I look, grandma?." Kim Hyejin asked, not being able to keep her happiness hidden.

"You look beautiful." Park Mun Hee said as she blew her a kiss.

"What about you, Grandpa?." Kim Hyejin asked as she stared at her grandfather with an expectant smile on his face.

"My little princess looks like an Angel!." Park Ha Jun said with a genuine smile on his face.

Without waiting for Kim Hyejin to ask him, Park Ji Hu praised her.

"Hyejin-ah, you will definitely score full points for your costume!."

"Thank you... Thank you." Kim Hyejin said to them with a proud smile on her face.

Now that she had seen her dress and tried it out, her heart could now rest. She wished she could show her outfit off to her classmates, but too bad she couldn't. Her mother would not allow her.

In the next few weeks before the Competition, Kim Hyejin trained harder.

Now, she didn't just have to skate around the rink, she needed to dance on the Ice as well. So with her figure skating coach, and choreographer, which was her mother, the training was not so easy.

Kim Hyejin has been learning dance from her mother since she started to work, even though they didn't start seriously. But when she showed interest in figure skating, her dance classes became serious.

Deciding to play the role of Princess Belle in this competition, her mother had to pick a song from the cartoon/movie and also teach her the dance steps with the song.

Now that she has learned the dance steps, she needed to try it on the rink.

Since Park Hayoon got enough money to see her daughter through the competition, she rented a private rink for her practices.

She rented the Private rink for a year and chose specific times on each day that her daughter would practice. And this means that during the time Kim Hyejin practiced, no one would come to use the rink till her time for the day expires.

"Jenny, don't twirl like that, you will get too dizzy and fall!." Park Hayoon said to her from the side.

"Hyejin, come over here." Kim Hyejin's coach said to her as she stretched her hand towards her.

Her coach had a pair of figure skates on as well just like her and her mother.

Kim Hyejin got up from the Ice and skated towards her coach. When she got to her side, she placed her little palm on her coach's big palm.

"Everything will be alright okay. We are going to try on the Ice Harness again." The coach said to her as she led the way.

The coach connected the hook of the equipment to Kim Hyejin's clothes, before lifting her and securing the wire.

"You're placing her on Ice rotation?." Park Hayoon asked with her gaze fixed on her daughter that was hanging up.

"Yes, it would help with controlling the dizziness she feels while twirling and rotating." The coach said as she crossed Kim Hyejin's feet together and placed her arms in a good position.

Next, she put on the machine, and it started twirling/rotating Kim Hyejin.

"Hope it's secured?." Park Hayoon asked worriedly with her gaze focused on her daughter.

"Don't worry it is, and I've got my eyes on it." The coach assured her with her gaze fixed on Kim Hyejin.

"Please watch over her." Park Hayoon said to her in a soft tone before moving away to turn off the music.

That day, Kim Hyejin practiced for extra two hours with two breaks in between. At the end of the day, Park Hayoon bought her a small cup of ice cream, even though she didn't perfect today's practice.

"Pretty Lady, when do I get to try my costume during practice?." Kim Hyejin asked dejectedly as she sat on her mother's lap inside the bus.

"When you perfect the moves. You don't want to ruin your dress before the competition, do you?." Park Hayoon said to her.

"No, I don't want to ruin my dress." Kim Hyejin said in a soft tone before sighing.

Then she said in a low tone, "That means I have to practice more to perfect the dance steps on the rink."

That sentence caused Park Hayoon to smile. She was happy that her daughter was determined to perfect her moves on the ice.

"Jenny, finish up your ice cream before it melts." Park Hayoon reminded the little girl who was worried about her Figure Skating practice.

"Okay." Kim Hyejin replied as she started to lick her ice cream.

After that day, Kim Hyejin started to practice with more determination. She practiced until she got the perfect move.

Two weeks before the competition, Kim Hyejin practiced her dance steps on the ice as the song (from Beauty and the Beast) played.

This time around, she got the moves right, and she had a look of victory on her face.

"I got it! I got it! I got it!." Kim Hyejin screamed in excitement as she skated around the rink.

Park Hayoon skated towards her direction and lifted her when she got to her side.

"My baby got the moves right!." Park Hayoon said happily as she twirled with the girl in her arms. But because she wasn't perfect with figure skating, Park Hayoon didn't get too far with her moves.

After the little celebration, the coach came to their side with a smile on her face.

"Congratulations Miss Hyejin". The coach said to her as she shook her little hand in a handshake.

"Thank you, Coach!?" Kim Hyejin replied happily.

"You scored 95 points out of 100 and you didn't miss the timing." The coach announced to them.

"95 points, why is it not 100?." Kim Hyejin asked in surprise.

It seems like this little child was expecting the best! 🤭🤭
